Many people were predicting a dominant win for Anthony Njokuani, but we did our homework and identified that this would be a tough fight for him.
Vinc Pichel is a fighter built to beat a guy like Njokuani and that’s exactly what he did…

Al Iaquinta was absolutely dominating this fight and controlling Mitch Clarke on the ground. This was great for our bet on this fight going over 2.5 rounds, because Al Iaquinta lacks finishing power.
It was looking like this would be a winning bet, right up until Iaquinta switched off for a split second and got caught in a submission by Mitch Clarke.

We said that this would be the easiest money of the night in our original betting tip and we weren’t wrong…
Tony Ferguson came out strong and completely walked through Katsunori Kikuno. Ferguson looked great and completely dominated this fight before knocking Kikuno out late in the 1st round.

FRANCISCO TRINALDO vs MICHAEL CHIESA

This is another fight that played out exactly like we said it would in our original betting tip.
Michael Chiesa was able to use his significant reach to avoid Trinaldo’s power punches and win the fight by taking Trinaldo to the ground.
Our 1 unit insurance bet was a great move as Trinaldo locked in some decent submissions, but overall this was a very dominant win for Michael Chiesa.

JAKE ELLENBERGER vs ROBBIE LAWLER

Jake Ellenberger showed really bad fight IQ in this match up. We said in our original betting tip for this fight that Robbie Lawler’s Southpaw striking would be the key to victory and we were right.
Ellenberger kept circling into Robbie’s power left hand and power left kicks throughout the fight and as a result Lawler was able to land some big punches.
Lawler finished Ellenberger with strikes in the third round and he looked great. I can’t wait to see him fight again. A rematch with Hendricks is certainly a possibility…
