I'm nervous about putting anything down on Johnson or adding him to any parlay. Teixeira is no joke with real sharp hands and knockout power, he also has great wrestling and high level jiu jitsu and lets not forget about his welterweight like cardio. It's a bad matchup for Johnson and I give Glover a strong chance of winning this fight. Don't put too much into Johnson because of his name or his power because all of that can be erased if Glover can get inside and get his arms around him until the 2nd round starts. Fading this fight all together.

My bets after about 2 weeks of research and a little gut feeling...

-Lim
-Garbrandt in a parlay only
-Pennington by Dec
-Markos vs Casey go to 3 Round Dec
-Covington
-Vettori,at nice odds too

Parlay- Garbrandt, Lim, Covington, Markos-Casey go 3 rounds

I didn't like how Markos looked at weigh-ins so I'm not confident enough that she will win but I'm confident it goes to Dec.

I've got Garbrandt, Means and Rumble all by ko, and Colby and Nate. I'm passing on everything else.

Lim too reckless, against a heavy hitter.

Magny vs Larkin, I'd bet the over, but I'm afraid of a surprise.

Cowboy vs Story : same thing.

Have a great night of fights and bets guys :good:

If I was in Vegas right now I would put 10 units on Diaz. This is a 5 round fight at 170 lbs and Diaz's insane cardio will punish Conor. Conor will come out strong and fast for the finish inside 2 rounds because he knows he cannot keep the same pace as
Diaz rounds 3, 4, 5.

When Conor runs out of energy from going for the KO in the first 2 rounds, Nate will bring the pain in 3, 4, 5.

The only way I see Diaz losing is if Diaz was bribed by UFC to lose.

[quote quote=30136]Many reasons for lumping on Magny.

First, the fact that I believe he’s a better all round MMA fighter. The only area where Magny doesn’t have the edge over Larkin is leg kicks.

Larkins only route to winning this fight is by chopping down Magnys lead leg like he displayed against Tumenov. But he has to not only pepper Magnys legs repeatedly to slow him down but he has to do that while avoiding being taken down…for 3 rounds.

If Magny is able to take Larkin down (which I predict he will do with ease) he has a huge edge on the ground. His transition game is excellent and is constantly working his opponent with strikes from the top while exploring openings for a submission. Magny also has a pretty underrated boxing game. He is very good at maximising the use of his 80inch reach. He likes to slap the lead hand of his opponents away and pop the jab. I see Larkin becoming frustrated and committing to his attacks which should make it easy for Magny to clinch and sweep Larkin to the ground. Magny is also very good at striking his opponents with 1-2s when backing up.

I am predicting a 3rd round Magny submission victory or decision win. imo, 80% chance Magny wins this fight.

Other key facts;

Magny #7th vs Larkin #19th.

Magny 6ft 3 vs Larkin 5ft 11.

80inch reach vs 72inch reach.

Magny has won last 10/11 fights (his loss being to Maia via sub)

Magny has never been Knocked out.

Larkin has never been submitted (hopefully this one changes come Saturday night).
