Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate shared an awkward moment on Saturday night as they were interviewed by Jon Anik at the Ultimate Fighter Finale. The fighters spoke about their fighters chances in their finale match ups and also how they saw their rematch playing out on December 28th.
The interview was very awkward and tough to watch in certain parts as Ronda Rousey repeatedly undermined Miesha with negative body language and derogatory comments. When Jon Anik asked Miesha Tate what would be different in their next fight she said that she was going to stay calm and not get emotionally invested in the fight. She also spoke about how she had plenty of practice dealing with Rousey’s brash personality whilst coaching on this seasons Ultimate Fighter. Rousey wasted no time in giving Miesha some more practice as she visibly turned away from Tate every time she spoke.
The interview is just one more incident in a long list of clashes between the two top Bantamweights in the world and it seems unlikely that either fighter is willing to squash their beef after they fight in December.
Ronda Rousey has already opened as a massive favourite in the UFC betting lines, with Miesha Tate starting out as one of the biggest underdogs in UFC history. Some online betting websites are offering up to 11.00 on a Miesha Tate win, whereas any amount of money you were to bet on Rousey would return almost nothing.
Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate will fight in just 4 weeks time at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, their fight is the co main event on an absolutely stacked card that is headlined by one of the biggest fights in UFC history, a rematch between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.
