Team MMABT

In early 2020 I would wake up every day, open Twitter and search for the latest videos coming out of Wuhan. I’d watch squads of guys in Hazmat suits walking the streets of the City spraying everything with strange Chemicals, while government officials would seal up tower blocks trapping hundreds of people inside. Back then I remember thinking that something big and bad was about to hit us all and within 2 months I went from earning a comfortable living to seeing all my income disappear.

Thankfully, Dana White kept the UFC events rolling throughout 2020, which helped me get back on track real fast, but I know that many people were not so lucky. It was a wakeup call for me that I was too exposed and too reliant on the UFC. It woke me up to the fact that if I couldn’t bet on MMA anymore or something happened to the UFC, I wouldn’t have an income and that’s when I began to search for alternative ways to make money so that I didn’t have all my eggs in one basket.

I am still very early on this journey of diversification, but we are in a fortunate position where we frequently get lump sums of cash that we earn from betting on MMA, that we could be using to diversify into other things.

This area of the website is a great way for us to work together as a community to support each other as well as share knowledge and research. I am very inexperienced in these topics, as I am sure many others who post here are. For that reason nothing you see on this website is financial advice and we are not financial advisors. Do your own research and hopefully you will find some benefit from the forum and chat room.
