UFC 168 is one of the strongest fight cards I’ve ever seen and there’s no better way to cap it off than by featuring one of the biggest rematches in UFC history as the main event. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on how this fight will play out, but the old saying lightning never strikes twice has never been more relevant than here.
Anderson Silva didn’t take Chris Weidman seriously in their first fight and he paid for that mistake with his consciousness. Silva isn’t going to make the same mistake again and history has shown us that a motivated Anderson Silva is pretty much the most dangerous man on the planet.

Anderson Silva is the greatest Mixed Martial Artist of all time. He is better than Chris Weidman in any area this fight takes place and he isn’t going to lose this fight.
Chris Weidman won the first fight with a lucky knock out punch. If you look at the rest of that fight, Anderson Silva is so dominant it’s unbelievable. It was of course this dominance that led to his downfall as he didn’t respect Weidman’s ability to finish opponents, but Silva won’t do that again.
If you go back and watch the first fight, you will notice that Silva was able to stuff Weidman’s take downs with ease and most of Weidman’s punches just rolled off Silva without hurting him at all.
Silva has said in numerous interviews this week that he believes this fight will be over quickly and that he will get his belt back. I’d have to agree with him and I think this fight is going to end quickly and violently. I’m expecting Silva to bounce back in the same way that he did against Forrest Griffin and regain his Middleweight title with a devastating knock out win.
