If you don’t know why Erick Silva should be the top pick in your Fantasy MMA team for UFC Fight Night 62 then you probably shouldn’t be playing Fantasy MMA.
Erick Silva has devastating finishing ability from any position and Koscheck has got his handsful in this fight. I expect Silva to finish Koscheck early, which will score big points for your Fantasy MMA team.

Shayna Baszler wilted under the pressure of fighting Julianna Pena on TUF, then she wilted under the pressure of fighting Bethe Correia in her UFC debut. That means that there’s a good chance she’s got to wilt under the pressure of fighting Amanda Nunes in Brazil, with 10,000 Brazilian fans all chanting “You are going to die”.

I’ve seen Puppies with better striking defence than Katsunori Kikuno. Kevin Souza is a powerful striker and he has an 8 inch reach advantage over Kikuno.
Kikuno doesn’t block anything and Souza has powerful strikes with a very large reach. I expect Souza to win this fight by knockout…
TONY MARTIN
COST: MEDIUM
Leonardo Santos has fought 3 times in the UFC and he’s looked poor in each of those performances. Tony Martin is young, hungry, aggressive and good at everything.
Santos has very poor cardio, poor striking defence and he fades past the 1st round.
I expect this fight to look similar to Tony Martin vs Fabricio Camoes and that means I expect Martin to pickup a win inside the distance…

CARLOS GIAGOS
COST: MEDIUM
Jorge De Oliveira has no takedown defence and no ground game. Christos Giagos is a powerful wrestler, with good takedowns and good submissions.
At the very least, Giagos should be able to take Oliveira down in every round and cruise to a unanimous decision victory. I also believe there’s a good chance Giagos can catch Oliveira in a submission and score big points by winning this fight inside the distance.

GODOFREDO PEPEY

Godofredo Pepey is an automatic addition to my list of “Dangerous Dogs” whenever he’s fighting.
Andre Fili takes a lot of risks and Pepey is dangerous from every position. Pepey doesn’t cost much and with the Brazilian crowd behind him, there’s a good chance he can score you big points by winning this fight inside the distance.
AKBARH ARREOLA
COST: LOW
Akbarh Arreola has improved significantly over the last couple of years and at 36 years old, Francisco Trinaldo is showing all the signs of a fighter on the decline.
Arreola has a strong submission game and knockout power. He doesn’t cost that much and he’s a decent addition to your Fantasy MMA team if you don’t have much money left to spend and you need to fill the last spot.
