UFC Fight Night – Kattar vs Ige Betting Tips, Picks and Predictions

Usually, at this point in one of these articles, I’d review how we did on the last event, but since I’m writing this before UFC 251 takes place, I’m hoping that it was a big night for us!

I want to say a huge thank you to AGBaby who took time out of his day to write a Testimonial for the site. This really does mean a lot to me, mate. Thank you for your kind words; they put a big smile on my face. Hopefully, we can 10x that bankroll soon!

John Phillips vs Khamzat Chimaev Betting Tip and Prediction

It’s not very often that I find big value on a big favorite, especially when the fighter is inexperienced and taking the fight on short notice, but Chimaev truly is a Unicorn. You can tell by the way that he moves that he’s exceptionally good.

Last year MMANYTT asked Alexander Gustafsson who his top MMA prospects were coming out of Sweden. This is what he had to say:

“My personal favourite is Chimaev. I train with him every day, and he is an absolute top talent. I’ve never trained with such a skilled guy before”

Chimaev’s skills have also caught the eye of top MMA Manager, Ali Abdel Aziz. He was quick to sign Chimaev calling him “Khabib 2.0”.

I’m not usually the type of guy to buy into the hype, but I can tell you right now that Chimaev is very, very good. I don’t know if he will beat John Phillips, but I do know that win or lose this guy has a bright future in the Sport.

I recommend checking out my Livestream session on this fight to see why I believe Chimaev is a great bet here, even at big favorite odds:

This bet really does not need much explanation. John Phillips has no takedown defense, and no ground game and Chimaev is a strong offensive wrestler with a super high-level ground game. That’s pretty much all you need to know.

There will be the usual detractors who will say things like Chimaev “hasn’t fought anyone,” but when you understand MMA on a deeper level, you can see that Chimaev is elite by the way that he moves.

John Phillips only has a puncher’s chance here, he needs to KO Chimaev early, or he’ll very likely get ragdolled.

The thing I really like about Chimaev is that he doesn’t fuck around in Kickboxing range. He knows his strengths are on the ground, so he immediately looks to take his opponents down instead of engaging in striking.

This is a very easy fight for Chimaev. He should dominate unless something crazy happens. I recommend locking in this bet ASAP because I expect his odds to decline significantly over the next couple of days.

Cody Stamann vs Jimmie Rivera Betting Tip and Prediction

With 3 UFC events taking place in this current 7 day time period, I am going to continue focusing on researching fights instead of writing breakdowns. This is just because I am worried that if I spend a couple of hours writing a breakdown, we may not have enough time to get through all the upcoming fights this week.

You can checkout the livestream below for a full breakdown of why I feel Rivera is a good bet here. Also please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions you may have about this bet in the VIP Chatroom.
