Anderson Silva vs Michael Bisping Betting Tip Prediction

I’m British and Michael Bisping is one of my favourite fighters of all time. I would love to see Bisping beat Anderson Silva, but I’m a realist and I have to accept the fact that he has almost no chance of winning this fight. Even if Silva shows up and looks like a shadow of his former self, he should still be too fast, too powerful and too skilled for Bisping.

Many people are anticipating that Anderson Silva will have declined significantly due to the fact that he is coming back from a suspension after being caught using PEDs. Whilst this is certainly a concern, I don’t believe that it will play a factor in this fight. It’s important to remember that Steroids help you train harder, build muscle mass and get stronger, which ultimately helps you improve your cardio, strength and power. Silva has never relied on cardio, strength or power to win his fights. Whilst these factors have certainly helped, Anderson’s style of fighting is based on speed and technique and you don’t lose speed or technique when you stop using Steroids.

Many people also believe that Anderson’s age could be a concern in this fight, but it’s important to remember that Anderson Silva is not your average 40 year old MMA fighter. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I’ve seen Silva bleed in his 39 fight career. Silva’s striking defence is on another level compared to almost any other fighter on earth and because of this he hasn’t taken anywhere near as much damage as you’d expect for someone his age. Silva’s brain has not endured anywhere near as much head trauma as most 40 year old MMA fighters and Bisping is hardly known for his knockout power. It’s also worth noting that Bisping is 37 years old, so he doesn’t really have any advantage when it comes to age.

I’m not saying that Anderson Silva is going to show up and look just as good as he did 5 years ago, but I am saying that it probably won’t matter what version of him shows up because the skill gap between him and Bisping is huge.

You also have to take into consideration the fact that Bisping hasn’t looked good for a long time. He’s been rocked in his last two fights against CB Dollaway and Thales Leites and now he’s fighting one of the greatest strikers in the history of Combat Sports. If Dollaway and Leites were able to rock Bisping, you can bet your house on the fact that Anderson Silva being able to do the same…

From a technical point of view Michael Bisping is the perfect opponent for Anderson Silva because he lacks the power and speed to hurt Silva standing up and he lacks the wrestling to take Silva down. Bisping is also an easy opponent for Silva because he’s very traditional and predictable in his attacks. When you watch Bisping fight, you’ll notice that he throws combinations just like they demonstrate on Kickboxing training DVD’s. This type of traditional striking technique is totally ineffective against a masterful striker like Anderson Silva.

Bisping’s speed and reflexes have also declined in recent years, which means he now seems to throw strikes just short of landing on his opponent. This could be because he is now partially blind in one eye, but it could also be because he is nervous of over committing and getting countered. This inability to land strikes with effective range is a huge problem in this fight because Silva is a master of distance who has a 5 inch reach advantage over Bisping. I literally cannot put into words how good Silva is at controlling range, but I can assure you that he’s as good as it gets. Silva’s ability to control range and distance makes him almost unbeatable against a guy like Michael Bisping.

We also have to take into consideration the fact that Michael Bisping is now partially blind in his right eye. This gives Silva a huge advantage because he fights out of the Southpaw stance, which means that his most dangerous strikes will be coming at Bisping on the side where he is partially blind. Bisping won’t be able to see Silva’s lefty punches and kicks coming with 100% clarity which means he’s going to be a sitting duck to getting knocked out.

I would love to see Michael Bisping win this fight, but we have to be realistic and accept that he has almost no path to victory. Silva is simply one of the greatest fighters of all time and being old and coming off PEDs doesn’t change the fact that he is significantly better than Bisping in every single aspect of MMA. Silva is a great bet at the current odds and I expect him to win this fight by knockout within the 1st two rounds.

OUR BETTING TIP: 5 Units [5% of your bankroll] on Anderson Silva to win at odds of 1.34 | -294 | 17/50

Daniel Omielanczuk vs Jarjis Danho Betting Tip Prediction

Jarjis Danho shows all the signs of a fighter who started training in MMA too late. He is simply too slow, too basic and too predictable to compete at the highest level of MMA. He doesn’t move like a fighter and that’s because he only started training in MMA 4 years ago. Daniel Omielanczuk isn’t great in any particular area of MMA, but he’s reasonably well rounded and he has never been finished in 22 Pro MMA fights. This is in itself should be enough to beat a low level fighter like Jarjis Danho.

If you’ve watched Daniel Omielanczuk in the past and have been unimpressed I don’t blame you… He hasn’t looked good in many of his UFC performances, but to understand the reasons why we’re betting on him in this fight, I want you to take a look at some of Danho’s recent performances…

As you can see, Danho lacks the power to hurt Omielanczuk standing up and he also lacks the technique to outwork him in any area that this fight could take place…

Danho’s wrestling is sloppy and predictable and his top control is very weak. Omielanczuk has decent takedown defence and he’s not that bad on the ground. If Danho initiates a grappling exchange, I expect Omielanczuk to come out on top.

Daniel Omielanczuk has a big advantage when it comes to striking because he’s fast, powerful and fights out of the Southpaw stance. Danho’s technique is very sloppy and he doesn’t have any power in his hands. Omielanczuk should easily win the striking exchanges and I believe there’s a very good chance he wins this fight by knockout.

When you break this fight down you will see that Danho has almost no path to victory…

His grappling isn’t good enough to grind on Omielanczuk for 3 rounds and Omielanczuk is a significantly better striker. It’s also unlikely that Danho could win the fight with a flash knockout because Omielanczuk has never been finished in 22 pro MMA fights.

I don’t usually bet on fighters like Daniel Omielanczuk who have looked disappointing in the past, but Jarjis Danho is not UFC level and the skill gap in this fight is huge. I expect Omielanczuk to win easily.

OUR BETTING TIP: 3.5 Units [3.5% of your bankroll] on Daniel Omielanczuk to win at odds of 1.90 | -110 | 9/10
