BEST FANTASY MMA PICKS
ALBERT TUMENOV COST: MEDIUMOne of my best Fantasy MMA picks for UFC 192 is Albert Tumenov. I think Tumenov is a great pick because he doesn’t cost much and I believe he’ll score big points by winning this fight by knockout or TKO. I feel very confident that Tumenov will win this fight inside the distance because Alan leaves himself open to big shots and gets hit far too much. It’s also worth noting that Jouban has been dropped in his last 3 fights. Jouban’s poor striking defense is something that will cost him against a more technical striker like Tumenov. JULIANA PENA COST: MEDIUM Juliana Pena is another solid Fantasy MMA pick that you should seriously consider putting in your team. She is such a physically imposing fighter with great cardio. I don’t see any way that Eye wins this fight, let alone make it to a decision with out getting stopped. It’s no secret that Pena will be looking for the takedown to unleash her relentless barrage of strikes. Even if Eye makes it past round 1, she does slow down the longer the fight goes on. I think Pena finishes Eye on the ground in the 1st round. Pena’s relentless pace will be too much for Jessica Eye to handle. I believe Pena will score big points by finishing Eye inside the distance.

DANGEROUS DOGS
ALEXANDER GUSTAFSSON COST: LOW I believe Alexander Gustafsson is a solid underdog pick for your Fantasy MMA team because of his low price tag. I also think it’s important to have a main event fighter in your team, because main even fights last 5 rounds, which means main event fighters have more of an opportunity to score points. Gustafsson is an excellent striker with great takedown defense. He will have a huge reach advantage over DC and he does a great job of fighting long. I believe Alexander Gustafsson has a great chance of winning this fight and scoring big points for your Fantasy MMA Team.
FIGHTERS TO AVOID
SERGIO PETTIS & CHRIS CARIASO I would avoid putting Sergio Pettis and Chris Cariaso in your Fantasy MMA team because they both have a tendency to fight to a decision. Fighters that do not finish inside the distance often score a low number of points. FRANCISCO TREVINO COST: LOW Francisco Trevino has a record of 12-1, but don’t let that record fool you because 9 out of the 11 opponents he has beaten have losing records. Trevino also lost his last fight to a half blind Johnny Case. Case was inadvertently eye poked and stated after the fight that he couldn’t see out of that eye. Trevino is now fighting 1 of the best prospects in MMA. Sage Northcutt is a karate based fighter and is incredibly athletic. He’s also well rounded and has a finisher’s mentality. The only reason why I am not recommending Northcutt as a favorite pick of mine is that I fear the “Octagon jiters” may get to him and he only wins a decision. I can’t see Trevino winning this fight, even if Northcutt doesn’t fight to his full potential.
