Bellator 160 is headlined by a main event fight between Benson Henderson and Patricio “Pitbull” Freire. Whilst most people will be spending their time trying to rationalize a bet on Henderson or Pitbull, we will give that fight a pass and instead focus our attention on the co main event between Derek Anderson and Saad Awad.
Saad Awad seems to have lost his way in recent years and has even talked about retirement. This has resulted in him performing very tentatively in several of his recent fights. Derek Anderson is only 25 years old and he is showing massive improvements from fight to fight. He’s also tough, well rounded and aggressive and he should beat Saad Awad simply by being the more active fighter. At odds of around 1.71 | -141, I believe Anderson is a very good bet.
