Lorenz Larkin is one of the few fighters that makes you wince when he lands a strike. He genuinely looks like he hurts his opponents and he’s extremely good at beating people up! His striking is truly world class and he’s powerful enough to finish a fight at any time. Strikers with the muscular build of Larkin often have to sacrifice speed for power, but Larkin throws his strikes with ease. He’s extremely quick and Tavares is going to have a tough time coping with the diverse range of strikes that Larkin likes to throw. There are multiple ways that Larkin can win this fight, whereas I don’t see anyway that Tavares can pull off a win. Tavares won’t be able to knockout Larkin, since he’s never knocked anyone out in his career and Larkin has successfully gone the distance with knock out artists Robbie Lawler and Francis Carmont. Tavares will also have a tough time taking down Larkin, who has a good wrestling base and excellent take down defence.
