Despite a poor second round performance, Dennis Siver never really looked in danger of losing this fight. He used his superior striking to pick apart Gamburyan in the first round, before putting on a dominant ground and pound performance in the third.

CHRIS LEBEN v URIJAH HALL
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED URIJAH HALL TO WIN
We predicted that Chris Leben didn’t have a chance in this fight and sadly that prediction came true. Leben barely landed a punch, before Urijah Hall caught him with a powerful strike towards the end of the first round. Leben survived the end of the round and made it back to his stool before throwing the towel in.
Urijah Hall put on an excellent performance and we now hope that he starts to live up to all the hype that has been surrounding him since he competed on season 17 of the Ultimate Fighter.

DUSTIN POIRIER v DIEGO BRANDAO
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED DUSTIN POIRIER TO WIN
This fight played out exactly how we thought it would. Diego Brandao started off extremely fast before looking tired towards the end of the first round. Poirier weathered the early storm and capitalised upon this by finishing Brandao with punches at 4 minutes 54 seconds of the first round.

JOSH BARNETT v TRAVIS BROWNE
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED TRAVIS BROWNE TO WIN
This is another fight that played out exactly how we thought it would. The odds makers made Travis Browne a heavy underdog in this fight, which surprised us as we consider him to be a much better fighter than Josh Barnett. Travis Browne did exactly what we expected him to do, by stuffing Barnett’s take down attempt before finishing him with vicious elbows at the end of the first round.

ANDERSON SILVA v CHRIS WEIDMAN
WE INCORRECTLY PREDICTED ANDERSON SILVA TO WIN
This fight ended in tragic circumstances that no one could have predicted. Anderson Silva broke his leg in a freak accident after Chris Weidman blocked one of his leg kicks. The injury will surely spell the end of Silva’s career which is deeply saddening for everyone involved in Mixed Martial Arts. No one deserves to have their career end like that and we wish Anderson a very speedy recovery.
