Betting Tip 1: Alan Jouban to beat Gunnar Nelson
[mpc_divider align=”left” lines_color=”#679f42″ lines_weight=”5″ padding_css=”padding:0px;” margin_divider=”true” margin_css=”margin-bottom:20px;”]There are some fighters in the UFC who are overrated and some fighters in the UFC who are underrated…
Alan Jouban falls into the category of fighter who is underrated because there always seems to be a ton of value in his odds. A perfect example of this was in his last fight when he opened up as the underdog against Mike Perry. Jouban went on to dominate Perry and yet we once again see him open as a huge underdog in this fight against Gunnar Nelson.
I don’t know what Jouban needs to do to gain respect from Bookmakers and MMA bettors, but I do know that he has been an absolute money train for us over the last few years…
I feel like I have a really good read on Jouban as a fighter, which has helped us go 6-0 when betting on Jouban’s fights for a total profit of 17.18 units. We’ve only ever bet against him one time when he fought Albert Tumenov and we managed to avoid betting on him in his loss against Warlley Alves. Take a look at our betting results for Jouban’s past fights in the table below:

Gunnar Nelson is an excellent fighter, but he always opens up as a big favourite and I do believe he’s overrated. If you go back and watch all of his past fights, you will see that he has many weaknesses that a dangerous fighter like Alan Jouban can exploit. I have listed these weaknesses below and I believe that they give us more than enough reasons to bet on Jouban at the current odds.
This is going to be a tough fight for both guys but over the course of their UFC careers, I believe that Jouban has shown that he is tougher and better conditioned than Gunnar Nelson.
The odds on this fight are very imbalanced with an incredible amount of value in Jouban’s current odds. I believe Jouban has a great chance of beating Gunnar Nelson.

Betting Tip 2: Arnold Allen to beat Makwan Amirkhani
[mpc_divider align=”left” lines_color=”#679f42″ lines_weight=”5″ padding_css=”padding:0px;” margin_divider=”true” margin_css=”margin-bottom:20px;”]I bet on Andy Ogle to beat Makwan Amirkhani when Amirkhani first made his UFC debut back in 2015. In hindsight this might look like a bad bet, but if you go back and watch Amirkhani’s fights before he came to the UFC you’ll see that he was an extremely low level fighter. 2 years ago when I bet on Andy Ogle to win I was convinced that Amirkhani was not a UFC level fighter and after watching his last few fights I’m still not sure if he has improved that much. His 3rd round performance in his last fight against Mike Wilkinson brought back to light many of the weaknesses that plagued him before he came into the UFC.
This fight is going to come down to how much success Arnold Allen will have stuffing Amirkhani’s takedown attempts. If Allen can make Amirkhani work hard for takedowns in the 1st round, then I believe Amirkhani will gas out and Allen will start to take over in the 2nd and 3rd round. Allen doesn’t need to keep this fight standing in order to win, he just needs to make Amirkhani work hard in the 1st round, so that he can use his superior conditioning to take over.
Amirkhani has shown in his past fights that he has poor cardio, low level striking and an extremely one dimensional style of fighting. Allen has shown in his past few fights that he has good wrestling for a British fighter and excellent takedown defence. I believe he has the skills to keep this fight standing and make a statement by beating Makwan Amirkhani at UFC Fight Night 107.

[mpc_divider align=”left” lines_color=”#679f42″ lines_weight=”5″ padding_css=”padding:0px;” margin_divider=”true” margin_css=”margin-bottom:20px;”]Leon Edwards has shown in his past few fights that he struggles when he gets pressured and Vicente Luque is a high pressure fighter. I believe Luque wins this fight by outworking Edwards over 3 rounds.
