In the last month we have seen a lot of odds movement in favour of the favourite on the day of a fight. As a result, we have been holding back on releasing our betting tips for UFC Fight Night 90 because we wanted to lock in bets on Joe Duffy and Vicente Luque at better odds than they have been all week. Unfortunately, the odds haven’t moved like they have in recent weeks and we can’t wait any longer. If the odds on either of these fighters improve to 1.33 | -303 then I recommend you lock in a 3 unit bet on each of them. However, don’t lock in your bet unless the odds improve to that point. There’s no value in playing them at the current odds. For that reason, we only have 2 betting tips for UFC Fight Night 90. Both bets are very solid and I expect to make an easy 6 units of profit tonight.
Don’t forget join us for our Live Betting Tips for this event.
Our Live Betting Tips now cost $39.99 per event or $79.99 for 30 days of access to all of our Live Betting Tips, Prop Bets and VIP Betting Tips. I understand that this change has angered many people in our community, but it is not practical for me to continue offering this service unless I can hire somebody to help me run the website. The timezone difference between the UK and the United States has made it increasingly difficult to commit to this service and the additional funds will allow me to recruit some help and make it easier to balance my family life.
This isn’t something that I wanted to do, but I’ve been working 50-60 hour weeks for free for the last 2 years and I can’t continue to do it. I need some help. $79.99 a month is a very, very, very small price to pay for the amount of money you can make in Live Betting. I understand that this is too expensive for some people with small unit sizes, but you also have to understand that there is no other investment opportunity on earth that can give you the type of returns that my Live Betting Tips can for just $79.99 a month.
This may be difficult for everyone in the short term, but I can’t continue to give my best every week if I’m tired, burned out and run down all the time. This increase in price will enable me to hire some help, which will ultimately improve my concentration and energy levels, which will result in bigger profits for all of us. We will all make more money as a result of this. I guarantee it.

He has a lot of heart.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][/ultimate_icon_list]Our betting tip and prediction...
[mpc_divider align=”left” lines_color=”#679f42″ lines_weight=”5″ padding_css=”padding:0px;” margin_divider=”true” margin_css=”margin-bottom:20px;”]This should be an easy fight for Rafael Dos Anjos because Eddie Alvarez doesn’t have the skills to compete with him in any area of MMA. My only concern is that we haven’t seen Dos Anjos involved in a tough fight since the new USADA drug testing came into full effect. His fight against Donald Cerrone in January did take place after the USADA testing was brought in, but it was too short for us to determine whether or not he had been effected by the new drug testing programme. After spending a couple of hours researching this fight I can assure you that Rafael Dos Anjos should beat Eddie Alvarez easily if he can still perform like he did before USADA came into effect.
Rafael Dos Anjos is a great fighter because he is very skilled in every area of MMA and he mixes us his attacks in a way that makes him impossible to gameplan for. You never know whether RDA is going to stand and strike, take you down or try to grind on you against the cage. RDA’s well rounded style of fighting makes him a nightmare opponent because you’re constantly having to react to him instead of being able to impose your own gameplan.
Eddie Alvarez is primarily a Boxer who has a lot of weaknesses in his overall skillset. These weaknesses include the fact that he has poor striking defence, a very low level ground game game and the fact that he only throws punches. Alvarez’s recent performances have tricked people into thinking that he’s a strong wrestler, but his ability to take Melendez and Pettis down and control them on the ground said more about their weaknesses than Alvarez’s strengths as a grappler. I can assure you that Eddie Alvarez is not a strong wrestler and he doesn’t stand a chance against Rafael Dos Anjos if this fight goes to the ground.
Rafael Dos Anjos is a part of a rare breed of fighter who started off as a pure BJJ practioner and later added strong wrestling to his grappling skills that have now resulted in him evolving into a dangerous BJJ / Wrestling hybrid. RDA’s combination of high level BJJ, strong wrestling, excellent takedown defence and stifling top control make him a nightmare for anyone in the UFC’s Lightweight division because these grappling skills enable him to dictate where a fight takes place. If he wants to keep a fight standing, he can use his grappling in reverse to stuff takedowns and keep the fight standing. If he wants to take you down, he probably can and his top control and BJJ is so strong that there’s not much chance of you being able to scramble back to your feet. RDA’s ability to switch things up and dictate where a fight takes place makes him incredibly difficult to deal with and Eddie Alvarez doesn’t have the wrestling or BJJ to shut this threat down.
Rafael Dos Anjos should dominate this fight if it stays standing because Eddie Alvarez is a one dimensional Boxer, whilst Dos Anjos is a dangerous Muay Thai practitioner with fast hands, fight ending kicks and a fluid style of striking that comes out of the Southpaw stance. Alvarez’s style of striking is very basic and predictable and Dos Anjos should be able to pick him apart by throwing a much wider range of strikes. Alvarez is also very slow and he has poor striking defence which means he’s going to find it very difficult to defend himself against RDA’s diverse range of attacks. One of RDA’s biggest strengths is his ability to take the centre of the Octagon and apply constant pressure. This makes it incredibly difficult to back him up, which will make it hard for Alvarez to settle into the fight and find his range.
Eddie Alvarez has got his handsful with this fight and I don’t give him anything more than a punchers chance of beating Rafael Dos Anjos. RDA will dominate Eddie Alvarez if he can put in a performance similar to how he used to perform before the new USADA drug testing came into effect.
At the moment we are seeing the odds improve on RDA, so I recommend that you leave it as late as possible before locking in your bet on him to win. Right now you can bet on him to win at odds of 1.33 | -303, but I do expect this to continue to improve as we get closer to the time of the fight.

I don’t see any way that Belal Muhammad wins this fight. It’s possible that Jouban is the biggest juicehead of all time and he comes into this fight looking a shadow of his former self… But even then the skill gap is so big between these two fighters that I still believe that Jouban would have a pretty good chance of winning. The odds are totally crazy on this fight. This should be an easy winner.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][/ultimate_icon_list]Our betting tip and prediction...
[mpc_divider align=”left” lines_color=”#679f42″ lines_weight=”5″ padding_css=”padding:0px;” margin_divider=”true” margin_css=”margin-bottom:20px;”]Every once in a while I’ll see odds on a fight that are totally wrong. This only happens a few times per year, but this is clearly one of those situations where the odds makers have got a fight totally wrong. The last time we saw this happen was back in December when Rose Namajunas opened up as a big underdog against Paige VanZant and we all remember how that fight played out…
Alan Jouban opened up as an underdog against Belal Muhammad which is absolute MADNESS because he should win this fight easily. Belal Muhammad just doesn’t have the skills to compete with him in any area that this fight could take place.
Both of these guys are primarily strikers, so I don’t expect this fight to go to the ground, but if it does, Jouban should be able to use his high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to cause Belal Muhammad all kinds of problems. We haven’t seen much of Belal’s ground game in his MMA career, but it’s certainly no where near the level of Jouban’s. This fight should be very one sided if it goes to the ground.
I expect the majority of this fight to take place standing, where Alan Jouban will have a significant advantage over Belal Muhammad.
Muhammad is a very basic Boxer who throws single shots and doesn’t utilize much footwork. This lack of movement will make him a static target for Jouban. He also doesn’t throw combos, he’s not very fast and he very rarely throws kicks. Jouban should be able to chip away at him with his nasty combos, devastating elbows, killer clinchwork and fight ending kicks. It’s also worth noting that Jouban fights out of the Southpaw stance which will cause problems for an inexperienced fighter like Belal Muhammad who has only competed against a very low level of opponent thus far in his career.
It’s also worth noting that Jouban is a high pressure fighter with cardio for days and a rock solid chin. We never see Jouban get tired and he applies constant pressure from the very first second of the fight. It’s hard to prepare for this level of intensity unless you experience it first hand in real competitive situations. Belal Muhammad is going to really struggle to adjust to fighting someone like Alan Jouban, when he has been facing very passive opponents in the past. Pressure breaks people and it’s always difficult to deal with.
Jouban’s biggest skill as a fighter is his ability to find comfort in the chaos that he creates. This is Belal Muhammad’s first fight in the UFC, and he won’t be given any time to settle in and become comfortable. Octagon jitters are the real deal, but Muhammad won’t be given any time to deal with them because Jouban will be in his face from the very first second of this fight. This is a nightmare introduction to the UFC for Belal Muhammad and I don’t expect it to end well for him.
We also have to take into account the fact that Belal Muhammad is a practising Muslim which means that he has been taking part in Ramadan for the majority of his training camp. Most Muslims do not compete in MMA during Ramadan because it makes it difficult for them to get the correct nutrition and hydration that they need to train effectively. Muhammad has said that Ramadan will not have effected his training camp, but I guarantee you that it will. You cannot cheat science and Muhammad’s inability to fuel his body during an intense training camp will almost certainly have an impact on his strength and conditioning.
This is one of those fights where the odds don’t make any sense. I’d personally cap Alan Jouban as a 1.20 | -500 favourite and I expect him to dominate. This should be an easy winner.

Our VIP Tip no. 1 isn’t bad. But, his opponent has the confidence of a champ and been unbeaten.
How do you think they matchup skill for skill?
I wouldn’t worry much about his championship experience, look at who he beat for that title…and who holds it now.
Well, the thing is, when a guy is unbeaten or a champ from another league, they have more luck than usual. Look at Mina or Ortega, both unbeaten and both won their matches with massive luck. There are some other examples. Skill for skill you have a pressure fighter in Jouban and a decisionator in Belal. It’s quite simple, Jouban TKO round 1 or Belal via decision.
Pressure fighters are usually favoured by judges. Althought i expect finish.
Good call on the ME. But, the USADA thing is so real. Hope their ain’t a big upset.
