I expect Taisumov to win this fight inside the distance, which means he should score you some big points. KONSTANTIN EROKHIN [Kountermove Only]COST: MEDIUM I don’t know if Konstantin Erokhin will beat Viktor Pesta, but I do know that he’s 9-1 on the regional MMA circuit in Russia, with 8 of those wins coming via first round knockout. If Erokhin fights just a little bit like the other Russians in the UFC, we can assume that the guy is legit. With 8 1st round knockouts under his belt, there’s a good chance he scores us some big points with a 1st round knockout win. Erokhin is the type of guy that you have to take a gamble on because not many people will think to put him in their team, because they won’t have heard of him. This means that you will score big points and climb above other players if he does manage to win within the 1st couple of rounds. [divider]

ALEXANDER GUSTAFSSON COST: HIGH Alexander Gustafsson is expensive, but he should beat Anthony Johnson comfortably. Gustafsson isn’t one of my top picks, because I don’t feel confident that he can finish Johnson inside the distance. That said, he should still score us a good number of points by cruising to a unanimous decision victory. GEGARD MOUSASI COST: HIGH I don’t see what Dan Henderson can do to win this fight, but I’m also apprehensive about banking on Mousasi to beat him inside the distance. I have no doubt in my mind that Mousasi will win this fight, but he’s expensive for a guy that lacks finishing ability. Mousasi is certainly a safe pick to score a good number of points by winning a unanimous decision, but you might want to take a gamble on someone a little more risky, who has more chance of scoring big points by winning inside the distance. SAM SICILIA COST: LOW Akira Corassani has had multiple surgeries to reconstruct his nose and he seems to have lost his ability to take damage. Sam Sicilia hits hard and if he can land big on Corassani, he’ll probably be able to stop Corassani with strikes. This is a bit of a gamble, but Sicilia is a good, low cost pick for your Fantasy MMA team, who has a legit chance of winning inside the distance. STANISLAV NEDKOV COST: LOW Stanislav Nedkov has devastating knockout power and Nikita Krylov has poor striking defence. I don’t know if Nedkov is going to win this fight, but I do know that he has the knockout power to finish Krylov with 1 punch. Nedkov has the potential to score big points with a 1st round knockout and you should definitely consider putting him in your Fantasy MMA team.
