YAIR RODRIGUEZ vs DANIEL HOOKER BETTING TIP
Yair Rodriguez has looked incredible since he first appeared on the Ultimate Fighter Latin America. Since appearing on the show, he has had two fights in the UFC. Both of those fights took place at altitude, so I’m expecting to see the best Yair Rodriguez we’ve ever seen when he fights at sea level this weekend at UFC 192. Daniel Hooker is a tough fighter with a lot of heart but he doesn’t possess the skills to stay competitive with Rodriguez in any area that this fight could take place. If this match up stays standing, I expect Rodriguez to pick Hooker apart with his more diverse range of strikes. Hooker doesn’t have very good striking defence and I believe there’s a very good chance than Rodriguez can hurt him bad with his unorthodox kicks. Rodriguez is a difficult fighter to deal with because he utilizes excellent footwork which makes him extremely difficult to time. Yair has been training at Jackson’s MMA for this fight alongside Izzy Martinez, who is one of Jackson’s wrestling coaches. Martinez is the guy who helped Jon Jones develop world class MMA wrestling and I believe that this gives Rodriguez a significant advantage over Daniel Hooker. If you’ve ever seen Hooker fight, you’ll know that he has very poor takedown defence and I believe that Yair can put his stamp on rounds by taking Hooker down and controlling him on the ground. You also have to take into consideration the fact that Yair Rodriguez lives and trains less than a 3 hour drive away from where this fight is taking place. Hooker on the other hand will have to fly from Australia and adjust to a different time zone whilst dealing with jetlag. I believe that this gives Rodriguez another advantage in a fight that he should already be able to dominate.MY BETTING TIP: 3 Units [3% of your bankroll] on Yair Rodriguez to win at odds of 1.50 | -200 | 1/2

ANGELA HILL vs ROSE NAMAJUNAS BETTING TIP
Dana White said that Rose Namajunas has the potential to be the Ronda Rousey of the Strawweight division and that could go some way towards explaining why they’ve given her an easy opponent in Angela Hill. In my opinion, Angela Hill is one of the easiest fights for Rose right now, because Hill has no ground game, she can’t wrestle and she doesn’t have enough power in her strikes to hurt Rose standing up. The key to this fight will be Rose’s unpredictability and the fact that she will be able to take this fight into areas where Hill is completely out of her depth. If this fight stays standing, Rose can use her high level Tae Kwon Do to blast Hill with a wide range of unorthodox strikes. This will create openings, which will give Rose the opportunity to take Hill down and submit her on the ground. Angela Hill is a one dimensional Muay Thai fighter, who doesn’t possess the power in her strikes to back Namajunas up. Her one dimensional style of fighting will also make it difficult for her to deal with Rose’s elusive footwork. Hill is very slow for a Strawweight and Rose’s mobility enables her to get in and out of striking range very quickly. Rose should be able to win this fight standing or completely dominate Hill if she chooses to take this fight to the ground. With Johny Hendricks out of his fight against Tyron Woodley, I believe that Rose Namajunas is the safest bet at UFC 192.MY BETTING TIP: 3.5 Units [3.5% of your bankroll] on Rose Namajunas to win at odds of 1.40 | -247 | 2/5

ALBERT TUMENOV vs ALAN JOUBAN BETTING TIP
Albert Tumenov is only 23 years old and he’s already great at everything. I personally believe that he’s going to be a future UFC Champion and we’ve already made a lot of money betting on him over the last couple of years. I’m extremely high on Tumenov and I believe he’s already a tough match up for anyone in the UFC’s Welterweight division. Alan Jouban is a great fighter with an aggressive style, but he leaves a lot of openings that Tumenov will be able to capitalize on. I expect this fight to stay standing, which gives Tumenov a huge advantage. The Russian looked a little more tentative than usual in his last fight against Nico Musoke, but that was mainly because he had to worry about Musoke taking him down. He will not have to worry about takedowns in this fight, which should bring out the best in his devastating style of striking. Jouban is a dangerous Southpaw but his striking defence isn’t great and he’s always coming forward. This forward motion will amplify the impact of strikes that land on him, because he’s constantly moving towards the impact. Tumenov has lethal counter striking and he should be able to use his footwork to stay on the outside and blast Jouban as he tries to close the distance. Tumenov is very fast and he throws strikes with pinpoint accuracy. His timing is also extremely good and I believe Jouban is the perfect style of opponent for him to score a highlight reel knockout. Jouban gets rocked in almost all of his fights, but none of his previous opponents have possessed the conviction to finish the job. Tumenov is a completely different animal and if he hurts Jouban once, he’ll continue to hurt him over and over again until the end of the fight. We also have to take into consideration the fact that Jouban is now 32 years old, which means that Tumenov is 9 years younger at just 23. The younger fighter wins around 68% of the time when there is a 9 year age gap in a fight. Albert Tumenov is more technical, he’s better defensively and he’s a smarter fighter than Alan Jouban. He should be able to win this fight by staying on the outside and landing the more significant strikes.MY BETTING TIP: 2.5 Units [2.5% of your bankroll] on Albert Tumenov to win at odds of 1.42 | -239 | 21/50

CHRIS CARIASO vs SERGIO PETTIS BETTING TIP
Sergio Pettis has been a huge favourite in almost all of his previous fights, so it’s great that we finally get an opportunity to bet on him at semi decent odds. I’m not one of those guys that has jumped on the Sergio Pettis hype train, but there’s no denying that Chris Cariaso has got his hands full here. The added value on Sergio Pettis is obviously a direct result of the fact that he seems a little chinny. Luckily for us, I don’t believe that Chris Cariaso has the power to hurt him with strikes, because he’s only finished 3 opponents with strikes in 24 pro MMA fights. Sergio Pettis is a former Tae Kwon Do World Champion and his offensive striking is as legit as it gets. I expect this fight to stay standing, which means Pettis has a gigantic advantage over Chris Cariaso. Cariaso’s style of striking is very one dimensional and he’s also very slow for a Flyweight. Pettis should be able to overwhelm him in the stand up exchanges, with his more diverse range of strikes that will be thrown from unorthodox positions at very fast speeds. Cariaso is on the small side for a Flyweight and Sergio Pettis is a good size bigger with a 3 inch reach advantage. Pettis should have the physical edge in this fight and it’s possible that we could see Pettis try to take Cariaso down and control him on the ground. I expect this fight to go the distance, but Chris Cariaso isn’t very aggressive, he’s not very active and he doesn’t have a style of fighting that will score many points with the judges. Sergio Pettis is an exciting fighter, who will almost certainly land the more significant strikes and he’ll almost definitely land a higher volume of strikes. I believe that Cariaso’s only path to victory is a knockout and since he doesn’t possess knockout power, I believe that it’s very unlikely that Pettis will lose this fight. Cariaso is simply too one dimensional to cause Pettis a problem.MY BETTING TIP: 2 Units [2% of your bankroll] on Sergio Pettis to win at odds of 1.60 | -166 | 3/5
