Will Brooks vs Marcin Held Betting Tip Prediction
There are very few fighters that are as skilled, athletic and well rounded as Will Brooks. I believe that he is one of the best Lightweights in the world and his lack of recognition as an elite fighter is great for us because we are continually able to bet him at really good value odds. Will Brooks is a significantly better fighter than Marcin Held and a significantly better fighter than any other Lightweight competing outside of the UFC. I expect him to put on a dominant performance at Bellator 145 and take one step closer to getting the recognition he deserves as one of the best fighters in the world. Brooks has the wrestling, athleticism and strength to keep this fight standing, which is a big problem for Marcin Held because Held has very low level striking. Brooks is able to comfortably fight out of either striking stance, which means he can quickly switch to Southpaw and wreck his opponent’s body with devastating kicks. Brooks also throws strikes with World Class speed, power and accuracy and there’s literally nothing that Held can do to stay competitive in the stand up exchanges. Will Brooks is also a master of distance with an incredible ability to efficiently evade his opponent’s attacks. Will’s ability to control the distance is a significant factor in this fight because Held shoots for takedowns from very far away. This means that Brooks should be able to identify when Held is about to shoot for takedowns and easily circle out of danger. Marcin Held has dangerous submissions, but his wrestling is just not on Will’s level. If this fight does end up going to the ground, Will should easily be able to transition into a dominant position or use his strong frame to scramble back to his feet. Will Brooks is incredibly calm under pressure, incredibly good at controlling a fight and incredibly skilled in every single aspect of MMA. He’s also extremely hard to hit, extremely hard to take down and extremely hard to outwork. Brooks also has an efficient style of fighting which means he never gets tired. Will’s ability to fight efficiently means he can be just as dangerous in the 5th round as he is in the 1st and this gives him a significant advantage over a guy like Marcin Held who has never fought in a 5 round fight before. Will Brooks is extremely difficult to beat because he’s great at everything. Emmanuel Sanchez vs Justin Lawrence Betting Tip Prediction
In order to beat a guy like Justin Lawrence you have to either be a better striker or bring something to the table which can disrupt Lawrence’s elite striking skillset. Emmanuel Sanchez isn’t a better striker than Justin Lawrence and he doesn’t possess the grappling skills to throw Lawrence off his game by threatening with takedowns. For those reasons, I’m finding it really difficult to see any scenario in which Sanchez could win this fight. Emmanuel Sanchez is a one dimensional striker and he doesn’t have strong grappling or knockout power. Justin Lawrence is in a different league when it comes to striking and he should be able to pick Sanchez apart. Sanchez has shown in his recent fights that he will absorb damage to close striking range, but this is a bad idea against a guy like Lawrence who possesses good footwork and fast hands. Sanchez will no doubt control the centre of the Cage for the majority of this fight, but he’s going to get picked apart when he tries to close the distance and Lawrence should easily be able to outstrike him. Lawrence and Sanchez are both strikers, so I don’t expect this fight to go to the ground, but if it does I give an edge to Justin Lawrence because he trains at Power MMA which is a predominantly wrestling based gym. Sanchez has really bad takedown defence and Lawrence should easily be able to take him down and control him on the ground. Emmanuel Sanchez took this fight on less than 3 weeks notice and he missed weight by 2.5 pounds. Justin Lawrence is better than him in every aspect of MMA and he has home advantage on his side.
