Corey Anderson vs Fabio Maldonado Betting Tip Prediction
Corey Anderson had a rocky start to his career in the UFC, but he’s shown vast improvements from fight to fight since he started training with the likes of Frankie Edgar, Mark Henry and Ricardo Almeida. Anderson may be taking this fight on short notice, but it’s a smart move because Fabio Maldonado is the perfect type of opponent for him to showcase his skills against. This should be a very easy fight for Anderson and a very easy payday… Maldonado is dubbed as a high level striker with a Pro Boxing background, but he’s actually a pretty poor striker and I’d actually give the advantage to Anderson when it comes to striking. Maldonado’s problem is that he has lacks power in his hands and he’s not fast or explosive enough to hurt a young guy like Anderson. If this fight stays standing I expect Maldonado to plod forward whilst Anderson uses his superior speed and footwork to blast Maldonado with the more significant strikes. I understand that many people will question my assessment of Maldonado’s stand up skills, but if Maldonado was such a great striker, he wouldn’t have been so easily beaten by Rampage Jackson in a stand up fight. Jackson gassed out in the second round and stood in the pocket with Maldonado for the entire duration of the fight and Maldonado still couldn’t keep the fight competitive. If Maldonado’s Boxing was that good, he should have been able to destroy Rampage Jackson. Rampage was the perfect stylistic opponent for Maldonado and the Brazilian still looked terrible. Corey Anderson’s biggest advantage in this fight will be his wrestling and top control. Maldonado has some of the worst takedown defence in the UFC and he’s completely incapable of keeping a fight standing. Anderson should easily be able to take Maldonado down in every round and keep him there with his vicious ground and pound. It’s also worth noting that Corey Anderson is 9 years younger than Fabio Maldonado and the younger fighter wins around 68% of the time when there is a 9 year age gap in a fight. Maldonado’s wins in the UFC have come against Hans Stringer, Joey Beltran, Roger Hollett, Gian Villante and James McSweeney. None of those guys apart from maybe Gian Villante are UFC level and Villante was absolutely destroying Maldonado until he gassed out. I don’t believe that Fabio Maldonado is UFC level and I believe Corey Anderson is going to run through him on Saturday night. Maldonado’s only advantage in this fight is the fact that this matchup is taking place in Brazil, but I don’t think it’s going to be enough to save him from getting taken down and beaten up on the ground. This is a very easy match up for Corey Anderson and he should win easily…MY BETTING TIP: 5 Units [5% of your bankroll] on Corey Anderson to win at odds of 1.20 | -500 | 1/5

Johnny Case vs Yan Cabral Betting Tip Prediction
Johnny Case is training with some of the best fighters in the world at Power MMA, whilst Yan Cabral has moved to Spain to train full time in an effort to grow the sport in a new country. That single sentence should tell you all you need to know about who you should be betting on in this fight. Johnny Case is one of the most talented young prospects in the UFC right now and at just 26 years old he’s already great at everything. Yan Cabral might have better Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, but Case has strong enough grappling to keep the fight on his terms and defend against Cabral’s submission attempts. The skill gap between Case and Cabral is huge and I expect Case to dominate every single second of this fight. Cabral has very poor striking technique and Case should be able to use his wrestling to keep this fight standing and pick Cabral apart with his far superior technique. Cabral will want this fight on the ground, but he doesn’t have the offensive wrestling to get it there. Cabral’s takedowns are very poor and Case’s superior posture and footwork will make it hard for Cabral to tie him up. If this fight goes to the ground, it will be because Case chose to take it there. One of the biggest advantages that Johnny Case has in this fight is his cardio and high pressure style of fighting. Yan Cabral has really bad cardio and there’s no way he’s going to be able to keep up with Case for 3 rounds. It’s also worth noting that Johnny Case is 6 years younger than Yan Cabral and the younger fighter wins around 65% of the time when there is a 6 year age gap in a fight. The UFC have clearly recognised Johnny Case as an exciting young prospect and they seem to be feeding him easy opponents at the moment to help him build a strong career in the UFC. I expect Johnny Case to put in another excellent performance against Yan Cabral and win this fight easily.MY BETTING TIP: 5 Units [5% of your bankroll] on Johnny Case to win at odds of 1.42 | -238 | 21/50
