Football Betting Tips – Gameweek 15

I took last week off from Football Betting to focus on the massive number of MMA fights that were taking place. Now that things have gone back to normal, it’s time to get back on the horse and try to recover from the brutal losses we suffered in November.

I’ve been making a living betting on MMA for around 2 years now after a decade of learning my craft. Up until last month, I thought that betting on MMA was mentally challenging. I now have a whole new concept of what bad luck is. Football Betting in November punched me in the dick harder than I ever thought was possible. I’ve had to redefine what bad luck is based on the brutal set of losses we had to take on the chin last month.

We suffered some of the most horrific, improbable, odds-defying, nonsensical, catastrophic losses that I’ve ever seen. There were at least 10 bets we lost last month that I LOVED. They were INCREDIBLE, yet they ALL lost. Anything can happen in sports, and I always accept that any outcome is possible, but the sheer quantity of amazing bets that we lost in such a short space of time was both confusing and demoralizing. I expect to take bad beats every month, but I don’t expect to take THAT MANY bad beats in such a short space of time.

I have now learned the hard way that Football is a cruel sport to bet on, but it’s also important at times like this to gain some perspective. After just 4 months of my Football Betting Challenge, I’ve made a profit in 3 out of the 4 months that I’ve been betting and I’ve already grown my starting bankroll by 20%. This is a big achievement when you take into account the fact that I’ve just gone through one of the most disgusting runs of bad luck I’ve ever experienced.

My goal now is to learn from those losses and keep grinding out profits. I’m going to do things a little differently from now on to try and avoid the big swings. Let’s hope it starts to pay off!
