UFC on FOX 31 Betting Tips, Picks and Predictions Allsopp Uncategorized December 10, 2018 UFC on FOX 31 marks the end of an era as it will be the last event broadcast on FOX Sports before the UFC launch a new wave of international broadcasting deals on January 19th. As 2018 comes to an end, I thought I’d share my profitability chart, so that you can see how our year has gone so far. Elite Members have made around 130 units of profit so far, while VIP Members have made closer to 20 units. You can also find this chart on my Results page. At this time of year, we usually look forward to a brand new betting campaign that starts in January, but this year is different because we don’t know if we will be able to continue to Live Bet after January the 19th. Right now instead of setting goals for 2019, I am just praying we can continue to do what we love. Rather than setting new goals for 2019, I am going to put 3 wishes out into the Universe in the hope that we can be blessed with some good luck. I don’t have a magic lamp like Aladdin, but at this point, I’m willing to try anything! Firstly I want to wish that we can continue to Livebet in 2019 and beyond. Times are very tough, and the extra money we earn from gambling helps us lead a better quality of life. To have this taken away from us by factors outside of our control would be brutal. The way that the UFC is choosing to broadcast their fights will change dramatically from January 2019 onwards, and I pray that the betting sites are willing to evolve with the sport and continue to offer Live Betting. Secondly, I’d like to wish for better judging in 2019. I’ve managed to grind out a solid set of results this year, but our profits should be much higher than 130 units. Bad judging and the uncertainty around how judges will score fights has personally cost me tens of thousands of dollars over the last 12 months. I’m not sure if this is how it’s always going to be from now on, or if this is short-term variance. Either way, I hope it stops. Bad judging is ruining fighter’s careers, and it costs everyone involved with the sport a lot of money. It needs to stop. The overall standard of judging in 2018 has been appalling. There’s no consistency. Finally, I’d like to wish for the rollout of online gambling in the United States. Earlier this year, a bill was passed in the Supreme Court that enables US states to decide whether they want to legalize online gambling on an individual basis. This opens the door for giant, multi national online gambling companies like Bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Coral etc… To start offering their services to the people of the United States for the first time since the Full Tilt Poker scandal back in 2010. If online gambling is once again legalized in the United States, it will bring billions of dollars worth of liquidity into MMA betting, which will enable us to bet on a much wider range of websites, with dramatically increased liquidity. This is what we’ve been waiting for over the last 5 years, and in 2019 we might finally get it. It will be huge for us if online gambling is made legal in the United States. When I set this website up 5 years ago, I never thought that it would turn into a place where we can jump into the Chat Room at any time of day and have great conversations with some amazing people. I really appreciate your support over all these years; it means a lot to me. It means more than I can put into words. If this is going to be our last month betting on UFC together, I want you to know that I’ve had so much fun over the years. I haven’t had the chance to meet many of you in person, but I spend more time chatting with you than I spend talking to my friends and family. We have a strong bond here, and it’s something I’ll never forget. We ride extreme highs and extreme lows together every weekend, and I don’t want it to stop. The last 5 years have been a blast. I’m looking forward to spending the next 5 years having more good conversations in the Chat Room and helping you make a ton of money.
