Unfortunately for us, Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira spoilt those plans and we ended up making a pretty big loss.

Anthony Johnson’s takedown defence has been questionable throughout his career, which spelt trouble considering he was going up against Phil Davis who has some of the best takedowns and top control in the UFC’s Light Heavyweight division. Unfortunately Anthony Johnson showed up and fought like an absolute beast. He walked right through Phil Davis and easily stuffed every single take down attempt. JON JONES vs GLOVER TEIXEIRA

OUR BET: 10.00 Units on this fight not to go the distance at odds of 1.50 | -200 | 1/2 OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 10.00 Units Lost I cannot believe that this fight went to a decision. It kind of sums up the bad run that we’re on at the moment. Jon Jones inflicted a lot of damage on Glover Teixeira but the Brazilian just kept coming. It was a dominant performance from Jon Jones, but it didn’t help us win our bet. This was a really bad night for us, when it should have been a relatively safe night of betting… WE INCORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT THIS FIGHT WOULD END INSIDE THE DISTANCE
