BRYAN CARAWAY vs ERIK PEREZ
Bryan Caraway’s only hope of winning this fight is to lay and pray on Erik Perez for 15 minutes. Perez is simply better than Caraway in almost any area this fight could take place.
Caraway’s biggest weakness is his striking. He telegraphs most of his punches and he leads with his head when shooting for take downs. This makes him an easy target for Erik Perez who has crisp boxing and powerful punches.
The problem with betting against Caraway in any fight, is the threat of him landing a couple of take downs and controlling his opponent on the ground. Whilst he may be able to score the odd take down against Perez, I’m not too worried about Caraway completely dominating him on the ground, because Perez has decent take down defence and good defensive wrestling.
I really like a bet on Perez at odds of 2.10 | +110 | 11/10 because I feel that he can keep the majority of this fight standing and inflict real damage on Caraway with his powerful striking.

PIOTR HALLMANN vs YVES EDWARDS
I don’t normally bet on guys to win who are over the age of 34, but I’ll make an exception for Yves Edwards because he has an excellent chance of beating Piotr Hallmann.
Hallmann is a jack of all trades and master of none. He’s ok at everything, but great at nothing. Yves Edwards is the exact opposite. His fighting style is very easy to define… He is an elite striker and he has become even more dangerous in recent years, by adding some good defensive wrestling to his game.
Piotr Hallmann won’t be able compete with Edwards if this fight stays standing, so his only chance of winning is to take this fight to the ground. That won’t be easy, because Edwards has some decent take down defence, having defended 70% of all take downs in his long UFC career.
Piotr Hallmann leads a noble life as an active serviceman in the Polish Navy, but I can’t help but feel that this hinders his career. Working in the Navy means that he can only do light training during the week and heavy training on weekends. This isn’t good for a professional fighter and it’s probably going to cost him in the long run. I seriously doubt that his cardio is at the level required to fight in the UFC.
The main reason why I’m picking Yves Edwards to win this fight, is because Francisco Trinaldo hurt Hallmann badly with body kicks early on in their fight. Yves Edwards has some of the best body kicks in the UFC’s Lightweight division and Edwards should be able to use his elite striking to cause Hallmann all kinds of problems. At odds of around 2.70 | +170 | 17/10, Yves Edwards is a great bet!

JASON HIGH vs RAFAEL DOS ANJOS
Rafael Dos Anjos has fought to a decision in his last 5 fights and there’s a very good chance that this fight will go the same way.
Dos Anjos doesn’t seem to go for the kill and finish his opponents and I doubt Jason High will be able to finish Dos Anjos. As a result, a bet on this fight going over 2.5 rounds is a good one…

DIEGO SANCHEZ vs ROSS PEARSON
Diego Sanchez might be fighting in his home town of Albuquerque, but not even home advantage can save him in this fight…
This is a great match up for Ross Pearson and another difficult opponent for Diego Sanchez.
Sanchez’s biggest strength is his heart, but Ross Pearson’s heart is just as big and there’s no quit in the British fighter.
Ross Pearson is younger, more technical and he trains with Myles Jury, who just destroyed Sanchez a couple of months ago.
Ross Pearson also has cardio for days, a great chin and he’s willing to stand and bang until somebody losses consciousness.
The odds are dropping fast on Pearson to win and he will probably be a big favourite come fight night. I don’t see any way how he losses this fight.
I also recommend that you place a bet on this fight to last longer than 2.5 rounds.
This is a great bet because Sanchez has only been stopped once in his 20 fight UFC career and he’s fought to a decision in 9 out of his last 10 fights. Ross Pearson is equally durable and I don’t see him finishing Sanchez.

BENSON HENDERSON vs RUSTAM KHABILOV
Rustam Khabilov is a great fighter, but I don’t see him beating Benson Henderson, because Henderson is just a little better than him at everything.
Khabilov has shown devastating grappling skills in some of his UFC fights, but he also struggled to control Jorge Masvidal for large periods in his last fight. Benson Henderson is a significantly better grappler than Masvidal and for that reason I feel that Khabilov is going to have a tough time imposing his will on the former Champion.
Khabilov has also shown decent striking, but striking is another area where Benson Henderson has a clear advantage.
If both fighters turn up and fight to their full potential, Henderson wins this 9 times out of 10 and for that reason I’m betting on him to win this fight.
I also recommend you betting on this fight to go over 4.5 rounds, because Henderson has fought to a decision in 9 out of his last 10 fights and I seriously doubt that Khabilov would be able to finish him.
