Darren Till may have a broken left hand

A few days ago Darren Till said in an interview that he had several injuries going into his fight against Tyron Woodley. When probed for more information by MMA Junkie’s John Morgan, Till played his injuries down saying that he was just experiencing the “usual shit that all fighters deal with going into a fight.” On closer inspection, it appears that Till may have accidentally let slip that he was battling some pretty significant injuries, before then trying to backtrack on what he said. Take a look at the interview and see for yourself:

Darren Till showed body language in that interview that suggests he may currently have a broken left hand. Play the video back and see if you notice the same things as I do. This is what I saw: Darren Till opens up by saying:

“I’ve got plenty of injuries right now, but there’s no way you’re not going to see me fight”

MMA Junkie’s John Morgan then says:

“Darren, just to clarify; You’re going to make some people nervous, you said you’re carrying some injuries right now? Are we talking about the normal bumps and bruises or something more serious?”

Darren then cuts him off saying:

“Just the usual shit, broken bones here, broken hands there”

The concerning thing about this segment of the interview was that he looked down at his left hand when he said “broken hands.” Play the interview back and see for yourself. Was this Darren Till accidentally letting slip that he has a broken left hand going into his fight against Tyron Woodley? Darren Till is extremely tough, and if both guys show up and perform to their full potential I strongly believe that he will win, but a broken left hand would change everything. Till’s most dangerous weapon is his left hand, and if it’s broken, he won’t be able to throw it anywhere near as effectively. A broken left hand will also make it more difficult to defend takedowns and it’ll also make it more difficult to post on the canvass and stand back up if he does get taken down. A broken left hand may also make it more difficult to defend against certain submissions if he has to fight the hands. I’m British, I love Darren Till, and I hope he beats Woodley this weekend at UFC 228, but my job as a Pro Gambler is to try and dig for Gold. I have to try and find nuggets of information that can help me make better bets. What Darren Till said in that interview is a huge red flag, and I feel like his body language strongly suggests that he has a broken left hand going into this fight. I hope I’m wrong, but I recommend that you don’t bet this fight. Just pass. There’s no point in taking a gamble on someone if they’re carrying a serious injury. It doesn’t matter how tough a fighter is, a broken hand will still prevent them from performing to the best of their ability. I hope you find this information useful.
