Football Betting Tips – Gameweek 4

Our Football Betting Challenge got off to a solid start in our first month as we grew our starting bankroll of $4000 by 10% after finishing August with a total profit of $417. I’m happy with this return, but can’t help but feel that we suffered a lot of bad luck in Live Betting. Throughout the month we put our money in some extremely strong positions and barely hit any winners. I am hoping that we’ll have a lot more success during September.

It is always going to be difficult to make money at the beginning of a season because we are mostly working from last seasons data. As the season progresses, I expect it to get easier to make money.

Being able to grind out a profit during the most challenging stage of the season is a very good sign of how the rest of the season may play out. Based on the first month of our Challenge, I am feeling very confident that we are going to be able to make very good profits betting on Football.

Leicester City vs Liverpool Betting Tip and Prediction

Liverpool to beat Leicester is one of my favorite bets of the season.

Leicester had one of the worst defensive records in the league last season and this season’s center back pairing of Maguire and Wes Morgan looks even weaker. Leicester make a lot of mistakes in defense and Liverpool are the kind of team who will punish them for it. I don’t see how Leicester will be able to stop Liverpool from scoring a good number of goals in this game.

Liverpool scored the second highest number of goals in the league last season behind Champions, Man City and they’ve also scored 7 goals in their opening 3 games.

Leicester’s main attacking threat comes through Jamie Vardy who is still suspended for this game after picking up a 3 match ban for his sending off against Wolves.

Without Vardy, Leicester do not have many goals in them, and their defense is far too weak to stop Liverpool from scoring. Liverpool should win this game easily.

Crystal Palace vs Southampton Betting Tip and Prediction

Crystal Palace have a passionate fanbase who have helped turn Selhurst Park into a fortress. Palace’s home record is good, and I believe that Southampton will struggle this weekend.

Southampton only have 1 point from the opening 3 games and haven’t looked good up until now. They’re not that dangerous up front, and they are also quite weak defensively.

Crystal Palace are a well-balanced team with a rock solid defense, a hard-working midfield and a truly World Class match winner up front in Zaha. They’ve only managed to pick up 3 points in the opening 3 games, but they should be able to add to that with a win over Southampton this weekend. Palace to win is a solid bet.

West Ham vs Wolves Betting Tip and Prediction

West Ham have had a tough start to the season, currently sitting rock bottom of the league with zero points. Despite this poor start, they have still created plenty of chances to score goals and look dangerous going forward.

West Ham’s home form has always been decent, and I don’t believe Wolves have the defense to stop them from scoring on their own patch.

Wolves are a team who are strong in midfield but look weak defensively. West Ham should be able to grab at least one goal against them.

Wolves have looked dangerous from set-pieces this season, and they’ve created a good number of goal scoring opportunities against tough opposition. West Ham still look very weak at the back and had one of the worst defensive records in the Premier League last season. There’s a good chance that Wolves will be able to net at least one goal in this game against a very dodgy West Ham defense.

Both teams to score in this game is a very solid bet.
