Lew Long is an exciting Welsh Fighter that should be in the UFC

Wales is a small country in Europe with a big history in sports. It’s home to Gareth Bale, who is the world’s most expensive Soccer player and Joe Calzaghe lived just a few miles outside of the Welsh capital. Wales is also one of the only European countries who does not have a fighter in the UFC…

Lew Long is an exciting fighter from Pontypridd in Wales, who holds a professional MMA record of 12-3. All 12 of his wins have come inside the distance and you’re always guaranteed fireworks when he steps inside the cage. Lew has competed in various MMA promotions including Cage Warriors and he’s currently on a 5 fight win streak. His exciting style of fighting and charismatic personality would make him an instant star in the UFC.

This February, the UFC is holding an event in London which is just a 2 hour drive away from Wales. There will be many people from Wales making the trip into England to support British fighters and it seems like a big shame that there won’t be any Welsh fighters on the card for them to support.

Win or lose, Lew Long always comes to fight and he always puts on an exciting performance. He is exactly the kind of fighter that belongs in the UFC and exactly the type of fighter that Dana White loves to watch.

The UFC is packed full of fighters who have been signed to the promotion to help promote the UFC in different countries and Lew Long is the perfect type of fighter to help grow the sport of MMA in Wales.
