3 out of our 4 betting tips for UFC Fight Night 43 won, earning us a total profit of 15.00 units. We’ve now made a profit in 4 out of the last 6 UFC events and it appears that our bad run has finally come to an end.
Here’s how each of our betting tips for UFC Fight Night 43 played out…
CHRIS INDICH vs VIC GRUJIC
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on this fight to go over 2.5 rounds at odds of 1.67 | -149 | 67/100
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 10.00 Units Lost
I really thought this fight would go the distance, because Grujic’s last 3 fights have all gone to a decision and he’s never won a fight by knock out or TKO.
Chris Indich is a tough fighter and this TKO loss really surprised me, because Grujic isn’t known for his power. Sorry guys, I didn’t see this one coming!
CHARLES OLIVEIRA vs HATSU HIOKI
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Charles Oliveira to win at odds of 1.59 | -169 | 59/100
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 5.90 Units Profit
I said in my original betting tip for this fight, that I felt Oliveira’s aggression would be the difference and I was right…
Hatsu Hioki secured some dominant positions and controlled Oliveira for large periods of the fight, but Oliveira showed more aggression and kept going for submissions until he successfully got Hioki to tap. This turned out to be a really good bet at odds of 1.59 | -169 | 59/100.
JARED ROSHOLT vs SOA PALELEI
OUR FIRST BET: 10.00 Units on Jared Rosholt to win at odds of 1.69 | -144 | 69/100
OUR SECOND BET: 10.00 Units on this fight to go over 1.5 rounds at odds of 2.20 | +120 | 6/5
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 19.10 Units Profit
This fight played out EXACTLY like I said it would in my original betting tip.
Soa Palelei is only dangerous when he can land take downs and secure top position. He was never going to be able to do this against Jared Rosholt, because Rosholt is an elite wrestler with really good cardio for a Heavyweight.
Soa Palelei was exposed by Rosholt and looked terrible in this fight. This was the easiest money of the night…
