The standard of fighter competing on WSOF 17 is very poor and I wouldn’t feel confident betting on any of them. Luckily, I did manage to come up with 1 bet, which really should bank us a profit on this event. I feel very confident that this betting tip will get us back on track after losing on Bellator last night.

3 FIGHT PARLAY ACCUMULATOR | BRIAN FOSTER vs JAKE SHIELDS | CONOR McGREGOR vs DENIS SIVER | RON STALLINGS vs URIAH HALL
I hate placing bets like this, but this is about as close to free money as we’re going to get. Brian Foster, Denis Siver and Ron Stallings have almost no chance of winning their fights and we’d be crazy not to take this opportunity to grow our bankrolls by 2.5%. By parlaying Jake Shields, Conor McGregor and Uriah Hall together, we can get respectful odds of around 1.52 | -192 | 13/25, which gives us a decent return on our money for minimal risk.
BRIAN FOSTER vs JAKE SHIELDS
Brian Foster is a grappler, but he’s no where near the level of Jake Shields. Take a look at one of his fights from 18 months ago…
As you can see, he gives up position too easily, he makes rookie mistakes on the ground and he’s very easy to control. Jake Shields should absolutely destroy this guy.
Jake Shields vs Brian Foster highlights the massive weaknesses in the World Series of Fighting roster because there’s no way that a guy like Brian Foster should be taking on a guy like Jake Shields. I am truly amazed that Jake Shields isn’t closer to being a 1.08 | -1250 | 2/25 favourite and I actually think that the odds of 1.25 | -400 | 1/4 are excellent value.
URIAH HALL vs RON STALLINGS
Uriah Hall has failed to live up to his hype since he signed for the UFC, but he’s still a beast with vicious knock out power. Ron Stallings is taking this fight on just 6 days notice and he lost his last fight against Tim Williams in a small regional promotion.
There’s literally nothing that Stallings could have done in the last 6 days to prepare for a guy like Uriah Hall and I think it will just be a matter of time before Hall puts this guy to sleep.
In the past, I have felt nervous betting on Hall, but when you look at how Gastelum has performed in the UFC, his loss in the the Ultimate Fighter Finale wasn’t all that bad. I know he looked disappointing against John Howard, but he absolutely wrecked Chris Leben and he cruised to a unanimous decision victory in his last fight, despite the fact that one of his toes was hanging off for over 10 minutes.
I’m finding it really difficult to see any way that Hall could lose this fight.
CONOR McGREGOR vs DENIS SIVER
Denis Siver struggled in his last fight against a guy stepping up on short notice and making his UFC debut. Many people have commended Charles Rosa for his performance under such difficult circumstances, but I suspect that the competitiveness of that fight might be more down to the fact that it was Siver’s first fight returning from Steroid use, as opposed to the fact that Rosa looked good.
Denis Siver is 36 years old and he’s coming into this fight as a former user of Steroids. We’ve all seen how rapidly fighters decline when they can no longer take PED’s and I believe that the same thing will happen to Siver.
Conor McGregor is young, fast, strong, powerful, accurate and skilled. He also holds a 4 inch reach advantage over Siver and he’s very comfortable fighting out of the Southpaw stance. Even if you don’t buy into the Conor McGregor hype, you’d be stupid to give Siver any chance of winning this fight and I’d be amazed to see any other outcome other than McGregor completely wrecking Siver.
