I believe it’s majorly importantly contributive,
For 2 reasons :
On those rare-ish times when there’s only one leg left to hit on a Huge Parlay :
(But not so rare, as it happened to a bunch of us lasr UFC!)
1. It is on a greater scale, in terms of Rewards. And
2. It is 100% mathematically INFALLIBLE.
To hedge on the last guy, particularly if he’s the underdog and/or live.
LIKE A “LOCK” that were actually GUARANTEED + PAID 10 times as much as a regular bet.
Now I’m not saying we should chase these situations.
BUT when we’re IN that situation, it is PURE Cherry Picking, and IMO Significant at the end of the year.
(Like winning the lottery once or twice a year. We’re already buying 1000 tickets a year for fuck’s sake lol)
ALL OF US, practically, would have made GUARANTEED HUGE UNITS, had we hedged.
And I’m not just saying that because Garbrandt won. Even if Almeida had won, it STILL would have been the Best thing to Do. Or must we be pennywise and poundfoolish ?
I would, next event, be trying to win a few units to add to my guaranteed 350$ instead of present 140$.
I am Happy to be bringing You and the Tribe something Worthwhile.
