When you first see the size difference, it’s hard to believe that these two fighters actually compete in the same weight class. Cezar Ferreira is much bigger than Daniel Sarafian and has a 6 inch reach advantage over the aggressive young brazilian.
Whilst it may “look” like Ferreira will have it easy against Sarafian, lets take a little look at their form going into this fight…
Daniel Sarafian currently holds a record of 8 wins and 3 losses and won his last fight against Eddie Mendez. Ferreira on the other hand is going into this fight on the back of a 2 fight winning streak after beating Sergio Moraes and Thiago Santos. Both fighters will be competing for their third time in the UFC for this fight.
Cezar Ferreira looks better every time we see him in the UFC and that may have something to do with the fact that he’s Vitor Belforts understudy, who also seems to get better every time he fights in the Octagon. With Cezar’s mentor fighting in the main event of Saturday nights card, Ferreira has surely had a great camp for this fight.
Sarafian has had trouble in the past with his cardio and getting tired against a fighter as big as Ferreira, could spell trouble.
