It seems crazy that we’ve had the odds for UFC Fight Night Moncton for two weeks now and I’m only posting our first bet a few hours before the event is scheduled to start. This is no accident. Since the odds were first released I’ve watched the odds on the fighter we’re betting slowly improve, so I’ve left it to the final minute to recommend this bet in an effort to squeeze out as much value in the odds as possible.
I am very excited for tonight. In recent months we’ve been consistently putting our money in strong positions and narrowly missing out on several big paydays. Not much has gone our way with UFC betting this year. We’ve been extremely unlucky, but historically we tend to do very well in the busy Autumn / Winter run of MMA events.
We now have a UFC event every single weekend from now until Christmas. This is a great opportunity for us to put some wins together and gain some momentum. This is our time to shine. This is our time to bank some big profits. I’m feeling extremely confident that we can have a big end to the year.
We’ve crushed Live Betting on UFC for the past 4 years and we tend to make tons of money in the final quarter of the year. I’m really looking forward to seeing how much money we can make over the next few months.

Calvin Kattar vs Chris Fishgold Betting Tip and Prediction
Chris Fishgold boasts an impressive 17-1 MMA record, but that has been helped by being managed by Graham Boylan who is the CEO of Cage Warriors. Fishgold has enjoyed a good amount of soft matchmaking throughout his career, and his impressive record is not reflective of the skills he shows in the cage. Fishgold is a decent fighter, but his record is definitely padded.
Making your UFC debut is always going to be a difficult task, but I feel like Fishgold has made things much tougher for himself than it needed to be, because this is Fishgold’s first fight back at Featherweight for 3 years. Back when Fishgold used to compete in this division he used to gas out in almost every fight. His cardio then improved when he moved up to the Lightweight division. Against Calvin Kattar he drops back down to Featherweight for the first time since 2015. He did not look healthy at yesterday’s weigh-ins. You can get away with this when you’re fighting low-level guys on the regional circuit in Europe, but it’s dangerous when you’re fighting a guy like Calvin Kattar who is great at everything and who’ll be in your face for 15 minutes, pushing the pace wherever the fight goes.
It’s essential for a guy like Chris Fishgold to fight at their natural, healthy weight because he has an inefficient style of fighting. His strikes are thrown with explosive aggression as opposed to crisp, sharp technique, and he tries to use his strength and power to complete takedowns instead of efficiently managing his energy levels and timing his entries.
Calvin Kattar is the complete opposite. You won’t see Kattar slow down because he has a very efficient style of fighting. He’s extremely technical in all areas. He chips away at his opponent with high volume, technical striking and on the ground, he’s also very technical.
Chris Fishgold’s strategy is the same in every fight; He comes out the gate very aggressive and looks to use his explosive striking to set up takedown entries, he then goes to work on the ground trying to grind out his opponents. Fishgold isn’t a particularly dangerous striker or a strong grappler, but his aggressive style of fighting has been enough to blow most low-level guys out of the water on the regional circuit in Europe. Fishgold’s style is the exact kind of style that you can turn into a panic wrestler. If you stuff his takedown attempts, he’ll lose confidence and start to get more predictable and tired.
Calvin Kattar has excellent, crisp, sharp technical striking, but he’s also a very good grappler. He has decent takedown defense, a solid ground game and he’s heavy on top. On the few occasions we’ve seen Fishgold fight a relatively decent level of opponent he has frequently made mistakes and given up position on the ground.
A few weeks ago Calvin Kattar was capped as a 1.20 | -500 | 1/5 favorite, and I believe that these odds were accurate. Since then I believe his odds have improved because wiki cappers have seen Fishgold’s impressive record of 17-1 and decided to roll the dice on him. Skill for skill Kattar should dominate this fight wherever it takes place. He’s a great bet at the current odds. Aside from a flash KO, I believe he’ll win this fight easily.
