It has been a tough year for us, but it’s important to remember that every investment has its ups and downs. There was even a time when Apple were on the brink of going out of business. Last week Apple announced that they have now sold over 1 billion iPhones and the company has never been stronger. It would have been easy for Apple to listen to their sceptics and quit back in 1997 when they were faced with bankruptcy, but they fought through adversity, kept going and now they’re one of the most valuable companies in the world. Gambling is a tough type of investment to get involved in because even when we do everything right, we still might not make any money. This is because we’re not betting on Robots and we can’t control how fighters perform on fight night. All we can do is put our money in the strongest positions possible and hope that everything plays out like it is supposed to. 2016 has been a crazy year for betting on MMA. I’ve been betting on MMA for about 8 years now and I’ve never experienced a period of variance that comes close to the losses we have experienced over the last few months. You only need to look at the list of UFC Champions to see how bad things have been. Who ever thought that Michael Bisping, Tyron Woodley, Amanda Nunes or Eddie Alvarez would be Champions? Despite the adversity we have faced we’re now on a 6 event winning streak and we’ve now made a profit on 9 of the last 10 MMA events [9-1]. We’re also maintaining a high win rate and we’ve put a significant dent in our losses for this year. After a difficult start to 2016 it looks like we’re finally back on track and hitting the form that helped us make so much money in 2014 and 2015. The next two UFC events look amazing for betting and with 3 and a half months left in 2016 I am confident that we can keep this winning run going and end the year in profit. It won’t be easy, but we’ve done it before and we can do it again!!! I believe UFC Fight Night 94 is an excellent event for betting and I expect to make a solid profit on this event.
