Alexandre Almeida vs Lance Palmer Betting Tip Prediction
When Alexandre Almeida made his debut in the WSOF in his last fight it was the first time that he had competed in over 2 years. Almeida ended up finishing his opponent in the 1st round, but it should not have been enough to earn a title shot because his opponent missed weight and was also a low level journeyman from the regional MMA circuit in Brazil. Here is footage of one of Almeida’s recent fights before he signed for the WSOF… As you can see, Almeida has weak wrestling, basic striking and no power in his hands. His one strength is that he’s active off his back, but he lacks the conviction to catch a high level grappler like Lance Palmer in a position that could win him the fight. Almeida has absolutely no striking skills, which means he aimlessly shoots for takedowns in a desperate attempt to get a fight to the ground. Palmer is the wrestling coach at Team Alpha Male and has very strong wrestling. There’s no way that a guy like Almeida is going to be able to take Palmer down, which means that this fight will be contested on Palmer’s terms. If Palmer wants to keep the fight standing, he can and if he wants to take the fight to the ground, he should easily be able to take Almeida down. Palmer is primarily a wrestler, but his striking is still significantly better than Almeida’s and he should be able to dominate the stand up exchanges. Palmer has shown a willingness to stand a strike in his past few fights, so I don’t believe there will be any urgency for him to take this fight to the ground. I believe that Palmer will want to spend a decent amount of time showing off his stand up skills, which could see him cruise to an easy win because Almeida doesn’t have the power, volume or technique to cause Palmer a problem standing up. If this fight goes to the ground, Palmer should easily be able to use his strong wrestling to secure top position and chip away at Almeida with ground and pound. It won’t be easy for Almeida to catch Palmer in a sub because Almeida’s submission attempts are very weak and Palmer is strong enough to power out of them. Clinton Williams vs Jake Heun Betting Tip Prediction
Clinton Williams is stepping up on short notice to fight Jake Heun’s after Jake’s original opponent had to drop out due to injury. Here are some of Clinton’s last few fights… As you can see, Clinton Williams is primarily a wrestler, but he doesn’t have the strongest top control and he also doesn’t appear to have the cardio to support his grinding style of fighting. Jake Heun trains at American Top Team and has very good technical striking with the power to put his opponent’s away. Jake is very aggressive, throws a high volume of strikes and he also uses a diverse range of strikes to mix up his attacks. Clinton Williams has a very basic striking skillset and I don’t believe that he will be able to compete with Jake standing up. Jake is primarily a striker and doesn’t have the best takedown defence, but he does have good scrambles and does a great job of using the cage to get back to his feet. Clinton Williams doesn’t have the cardio or top control to maintain a dominant position for long enough to win this fight and I don’t expect Jake’s lack of takedown defence to be too much of a problem against a low level wrestler like Clinton Williams. Jake trains with much strong wrestlers every day at ATT and I don’t believe that Clinton has the cardio to compete with Jake past the 1st round. Clinton Williams is taking this fight on short notice, whilst Jake Heun has been training for the toughest fight of his career against Tyron Spong.
