In order for me to justify betting against a dangerous veteran like John Howard, I need the odds to be much better. As a result, I’m going to bet on Ryan LaFlare to win by decision.
This is a good bet because it’s very unlikely that either fighter will be able to finish his opponent. This is reaffirmed by the fact that LaFlare has fought to a decision in all 3 of his fights in the UFC and John Howard has fought to a decision in his last 4 UFC fights.
Ryan LaFlare should be able to win this fight comfortably by out working Howard in the striking exchanges and using his superior wrestling to control where the fight takes place.
The only way that LaFlare will lose this fight is if Howard knocks him out. This is a possibility, but I can’t see it happening, because LaFlare has never been knocked out and Howard hasn’t knocked out an opponent in the UFC for over 4 years.
Ryan LaFlare to win by decision at odds of 3.50 | +250 | 5/2 is my betting tip for this fight. I also recommend that you place a bet on this fight going over 2.5 rounds, as I can’t see either of these guys being able to finish the fight.
