Colleen Schneider vs Raquel Pa’aluhi Betting Tip Prediction
I don’t expect this bet to be an easy winner because Raquel Pa’aluhi’s fights are always violent, scrappy and chaotic, but when the dust settles after 15 minutes, I do expect Raquel to emerge as the winner of this fight.
Raquel Pa’aluhi has recently moved to Las Vegas to train full time with Miesha Tate and she also spends a couple of days a week working on her Boxing at Floyd Mayweather’s gym. Pa’aluhi seems to be taking MMA really seriously at the moment and if she keeps putting on exciting fights, she will probably get picked up by the UFC pretty soon.
Colleen Schneider is a reasonably well rounded fighter, but she throws a lot of telegraphed Tae Kwon Do kicks, that leave her vulnerable to getting taken down. Raquel is very good at catching kicks and turning them into takedowns and she’s also extremely strong from top position. Raquel Pa’aluhi has some of the nastiest ground and pound in Invicta and Schneider’s ground game isn’t very strong.
Colleen Schneider has reasonably good wrestling, but she makes a lot of positional mistakes on the ground and hardly ever goes for submissions. Raquel Pa’aluhi is a lot more aggressive and she does a much better job of advancing her position and maintaining control.
Colleen Schneider’s striking is a lot more technical than Pa’aluhi’s, but she doesn’t throw with a high enough volume to outstrike Raquel and she also doesn’t have the power to back her up. Pa’aluhi loves to take the centre of the cage and walk her opponent down and I don’t believe there’s anything that Schneider can do to stop her from coming forward.
Pa’aluhi’s style of fighting doesn’t look very good, but she’s super aggressive, she’s a strong wrestler and she’s always coming forward, which makes her really hard to beat. In order to win a fight against someone like Raquel Pa’aluhi, you need to outwork them or finish them inside the distance and I don’t believe Colleen Schneider is capable of doing either of those things. Pa’aluhi is a decent bet here.
