ANDY OGLE vs MAXIMO BLANCO
I don’t see any way that Andy Ogle can win this fight. This is a very bad match up for him…
Maximo Blanco’s professional MMA record of 9 wins and 6 losses may look bad on paper, but don’t let the numbers fool you. Poor fight IQ and bad luck have caused Blanco to lose 3 out of his last 4 fights, when he could just as easily be on a 4 fight winning streak.
Andy Ogle has very poor striking and looks to win fights by pinning his opponents up against the cage and taking them down. This will be extremely difficult to do against Blanco, because Blanco has elite grappling and excellent take down defence.
This is also the first time that Ogle will have fought against a Southpaw and fighters normally struggle the first time they compete against a “lefty”.
Maximo Blanco is a well rounded fighter with decent striking and excellent grappling skills. This should be an easy fight for him and I wouldn’t be surprised if he finishes Ogle with strikes to claim his first finish in the UFC.
OUR BETTING TIP: 10.00 Units on Maximo Blanco to win at odds of 1.57 | -175 | 57/100

KRZYSZTOF JOTKO vs MAGNUS CEDENBLAD
Krzysztof Jotko is a well rounded fighter with decent striking and strong grappling skills but he tends to start slow and fight safe.
Magnus Cedenblad is the complete opposite because he fights very aggressively and is always looking for the finish. He’s won 8 out of his last 9 fights and he’s successfully finished 7 out of those 8 opponents. His only loss came against Francis Carmont in his UFC debut.
Jotko normally enjoys a sizeable reach advantage over his opponents and this allows him to pick them apart from the outside. This won’t be possible against Cedenblad, who actually has a longer reach and closes the distance very well.
Jotko is a decent fighter, but I don’t believe he will be able to deal with the constant pressure and finishing power of Cedenblad.
Jotko fights far too tentatively and he starts far too slow. Magnus Cedenblad to win this fight at odds of 2.10 | +110 | 11/10 is a great bet…
OUR BETTING TIP: 10.00 Units on Magnus Cedenblad to win at odds of 2.10 | +110 | 11/10

LUKE BARNATT vs SEAN STRICKLAND
I have no idea why Sean Strickland is such a big underdog in this fight…
Strickland is undefeated at 14-0, he’s a former King of the Cage Champion and he finished Bubba McDaniel in the first round of his UFC debut. I can only assume that the Luke Barnatt hype train has influenced the odds in this fight.
If you watch footage of Barnatt’s last 3 fights, you will notice several significant weaknesses that any decent fighter will be able to capitalize on.
His first weakness is that he has very poor fight IQ. He’s had his opponents badly hurt in his last two fights and he chose to celebrate instead of finishing them off. On both occasions this gave them an opportunity to recover.
His second weakness is that he gets hit A LOT. He currently gets hit with an average of 7.41 strikes per minute, which makes him one of the easiest guys to hit in the UFC’s Middleweight division. This is a direct result of several weaknesses in his striking game, which include his inability to use his reach effectively, his lack of head movement and the fact that he moves back in straight lines instead of circling away from punches.
Barnatt’s third weakness is his questionable take down defence. He was repeatedly put on his back throughout the Ultimate Fighter and Jimmy Quinlan had no problems taking him down just 13 months ago. He’s yet to face a grappler with good take downs and that could cause him all kinds of problems against Strickland, who has strong take downs and a solid ground game.
Sean Strickland is a really strong, well rounded fighter. He constantly presses forward and he mixes up his striking with take downs really well. He looked good in his UFC debut against Bubba McDaniel and he’s also got big fight experience, having competed in several King of the Cage title fights.
Sean Strickland to beat Luke Barnatt at odds of 3.00 | +200 | 2/1 is an incredible value bet and I believe that the odds makers have got this one horribly wrong. When it comes to Luke Barnatt, don’t believe the hype…
OUR BETTING TIP: 10.00 Units on Sean Strickland to win at odds of 3.00 | +200 | 2/1

CB DOLLAWAY vs FRANCIS CARMONT
Francis Carmont is a very intelligent fighter and he always turns up with a great game plan. In many ways he is similar to his team mate George St-Pierre, because his well rounded fighting style allows him to take his opponents out of their comfort zone.
CB Dollaway has made massive improvements to his game over the last couple of years, but I don’t see him beating Carmont.
Francis Carmont is simply better than Dollaway at everything. He’s got a good chin and a great team around him. He should win this comfortably…
OUR BETTING TIP: 10.00 Units on Francis Carmont to win at odds of 1.67 | -149 | 67/100
