Premium Betting Tips & Picks for UFC Fight Night 56

I’ve got 2 Premium betting tips for UFC Fight Night 56 and the two fighters who I have picked to win have been flying under the radar. This is because both fighters are making their debut in the UFC, but I do feel that they are both very underrated.

I also feel like there’s some really good value in the odds and we’ve probably been given a little extra juice because they’re competing against Brazilian fighters…

I’m working very hard so that we can finish the year off with a big profit and that all begins with my betting tips and picks for this event.

JULIANA LIMA vs NINA ANSAROFF

Juliana Lima is tough as nails and has home advantage on her side but I don’t think that it’s going to be enough to win this fight.

Nina Ansaroff is currently on a 5 fight winning streak with all of those wins coming via 1st or 2nd round stoppage. This is an impressive achievement for a Straw-weight fighter given the fact that 115 pound fighters lack the finishing ability and power of the higher weight classes.

It’s hard to predict how Nina Ansaroff will win this fight, because she is better than Lima everywhere. She’s stronger and more athletic, she’s a better grappler and she has much better striking.

Juliana Lima is primarily a Jiu Jitsu fighter but she doesn’t have the best take downs and she doesn’t do a very good job of gaining dominant positions, improving her position or getting back to her feet if she gets taken down. Lima also has really bad take down defence and she’s really easy to hit.

Ansaroff has fought some of the best female fighters in the world including Carla Esparza and Barb Honchak. She lost both those fights but she did go to a decision with both of them and only lost a very close split decision against Esparza. Going the distance with 2 World Champions is a great measure of just how good Ansaroff really is.

Juliana Lima only fought in regional Brazilian promotions prior to her UFC appearance and most of her past opponents were either rookies or fighters with a negative MMA record. Nina Ansaroff has competed at a much higher level and I believe that this experience gives her a huge advantage in this fight…

CLAUDIO SILVA vs LEON EDWARDS

Michael Page is being branded as one of the biggest prospects to ever come out of the UK but that’s probably because most people haven’t seen Leon Edwards fight…

Edwards currently holds an impressive record of 8-1 with his only career loss coming by way of disqualification due to an illegal knee. Without the disqualification on his record, he’d likely be on a 9 fight winning streak. Edwards is the current British Welterweight Champion [BAMMA] and he has absolutely destroyed everyone that he has fought so far.

Like most British fighters, Leon Edwards’ main strength is his striking but it’s refreshing to see that he’s also very well rounded with good takedown defence, decent wrestling and a tight submission game.

The following video clips illustrate just how well rounded Leon Edwards is…

Leon Edwards’ main weapon is his striking, which is helped by the fact that he has a long reach advantage and fights out of the Southpaw stance. Take a look at his dangerous striking in the following clips:

Edwards has big fight experience having competed in title fights at BAMMA and he also looked really calm at the weigh ins yesterday. I’m not too concerned with home advantage in this fight because Claudio Silva lives and trains in London, so he will have to travel and adapt to fighting in Brazil in the same ways as Edwards.

I really don’t rate Claudio Silva at all and I think Edwards can put on a striking clinic and beat him up quite badly in this fight. Silva doesn’t really have anything for Edwards to worry about. This fight is the safest bet of the weekend next to Rockhold beating Bisping…

OUR BETTING TIP: 10.00 Units [5% of your bankroll] on Leon Edwards to win at odds of 1.49 | -204 | 49/100
