It was really satisfying watching UFC Fight Night 48, because every fight played out exactly like we said it would in our original betting tips for this event.
Even the one bet that we lost played out exactly how we predicted. It’s just a shame that the judges scored the fight differently to most other people.
After doing our research for this event, we knew that Elizabeth Phillips and Milana Dudieva would both be happy if this fight went to the ground. As a result, we picked Elizabeth Phillips to win, because she is a strong wrestler and we knew that she would easily be able to get top control on Milana Dudieva. That is exactly what happened, but even though Phillips spent large periods of the fight controlling Dudieva from top position, the judges still scored the fight in favour of Dudieva. It wasn’t a horrible judging decision, because neither girl did that much throughout the fight, but most people have said that they believe Phillips won.
Losing our bet on Phillips was a little disappointing, but ultimately it turned out to be a great bet at the odds of 2.48 | +148 | 37/25.
