[adrotate group=”25″]Our bad run continued with a small loss of 5.80 units on our bets for UFC Fight Night 40. It was another loss due to fine margins and we could have had a massive night of profit if it wasn’t for one of the biggest upsets in UFC history…
Johnny Eduardo was one of the biggest underdogs ever to win in the UFC, as he stopped Eddie Wineland via knock out in the 1st round. This would have been a good night of profit if Wineland had won, but things just aren’t going our way at the moment.
We’ll be back with some solid betting tips and picks for Bellator 120 next weekend and we’re confident that we can get back on track with a good profit for that event.
Here’s how each of our betting tips played out for UFC Fight Night 40…

ALBERT TUMENOV vs ANTHONY LAPSLEY
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Albert Tumenov to win at odds of 1.53 | -188 | 53/100
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 5.30 Units Won
Albert Tumenov showed off his potential by destroying Anthony Lapsley in this fight. Right from the first second Lapsley looked out of his depth and the Russian wasted no time finishing his opponent with strikes in the 1st round.
The influx of exciting new Russian fighters continues and I’m expecting big things from Albert Tumenov in the future.
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT ALBERT TUMENOV WOULD WIN THIS FIGHT

BEN WALL vs JUSTIN SALAS
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Justin Salas to win at odds of 1.44 | -227 | 11/25
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 4.40 Units Won
I said in my original betting tip that Ben Wall didn’t belong in the UFC and Justin Salas proved that with a devastating 1st round knock out.
I doubt we’ll ever see the Aussie fight in the UFC again…
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT JUSTIN SALAS WOULD WIN THIS FIGHT

RUAN POTTS vs SOA PALELEI
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Soa Palelei to win at odds of 1.44 | -227 | 11/25
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 4.40 Units Won
Ruan Potts is South African and I feel like that’s the only reason why the UFC signed him. He’s just not a UFC calibre fighter and Soa Palelei proved that by finishing him with a single hammer fist from full guard position.
In all my years of watching MMA, I’ve never see such a weak finish and unless Palelei’s hands are made of stone, Ruan Potts could have the worst chin in all of MMA…
The UFC will probably keep him around to try and gain some fans in South Africa, but I really can’t think of many guys who Ruan Potts would be able to compete against in the UFC’s Heavyweight division.
Maybe he should fight Ben Wall next in a catchweight bout. That’s one fight he might actually have a chance of winning!!!
WE CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT SOA PALELEI WOULD WIN THIS FIGHT

COSTAS PHILIPPOU vs LORENZ LARKIN
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Lorenz Larkin to win at odds of 1.44 | -227 | 11/25
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 10.00 Units Lost
We lost money on Lorenz Larkin when he failed to show up against Brad Tavares but we put that aside, as he had a clear advantage over Costas Philippou in this fight.
Unfortunately Larkin underperformed again and cost us more money.
Larkin normally fights as an illusive counter striker, but for some reason he looked a little flat footed against Philippou and he got knocked out for the first time in his career.
Had Larkin won this fight, we would of made a pretty good profit for the night, but once again we’re let down by a fight that should easily have gone the other way.
It’s difficult to accept that such a talented striker like Lorenz Larkin was beaten in a striking contest by such a one dimensional striker like Costas Philippou, but I guess the unpredictable nature of MMA is why we all love it so much!
WE INCORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT LORENZ LARKIN WOULD WIN THIS FIGHT

2 FIGHT PARLAY ACCUMULATOR
OUR BET: 10.00 Units on Eddie Wineland and Nik Lentz to win at odds of 1.58 | -172 | 29/50
OUR PROFIT / LOSS: 10.00 Units Lost
Nik Lentz cruised to victory over Manny Gamburyan just as we predicted, but the biggest favourite of the night, Eddie Wineland ended up losing and busting our 2 fight parlay accumulator.
Early reports suggest that Johnny Eduardo was the biggest underdog to win in UFC history. Nobody gave Eduardo a chance of winning this fight, but that didn’t stop the Nova Uniao fighter from knocking out Eddie Wineland in the 1st round.
We haven’t had a lot of luck lately and this fight pretty much sums up the bad run that we’re on.
We keep making excellent betting picks, but we keep getting let down by unpredictable fine margins. We know we’ll bounce back soon, so just hang on in there, keep following our tips and we’ll help you win a ton of money sooner rather than later!
