UFC Fight Night 115 Betting Tips, Picks and Predictions

It’s been a quiet few weeks in our community as we experienced the first 4-week break in the UFC schedule in a very long time. There hasn’t been a 4-week break since we setup this website 4 years ago, and I’m sure there won’t be another one anytime soon.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working very hard researching every Dana White’s Contender show as well as the Bellator, Titan and ACB events that have taken place over the last few weeks. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any bets worth placing, but, in my experience, it’s incredibly important to keep things tight and not be pressured into placing risky bets just because there is no UFC. Our ability to remain patient and calculated will ensure that we will always earn a profit long term.

The best investors in the world focus just as much of their attention on not losing money as they do on making money and I didn’t want to put any of our profits at risk by betting on a fighter who may not have been entirely trustworthy.

This weekend we have 2 major MMA events to look forward to with Invicta FC 25 taking place on Thursday night and then UFC Fight Night 115 on Saturday. As ever, I will be fully researching both of these events in the hope that I can find us some good value bets that will help us bank a profit this weekend…

Please keep checking this article regularly for updates as I’ll be adding more betting tips as we get closer to the time of the event.

Bojan Velickovic vs Darren Till Betting Tip and Prediction

Darren Till and Bojan Velickovic are two talented young fighters that could potentially develop into top contenders if they can tighten up a few weaknesses in their overall game.

Darren Till is a fighter who is excellent in all aspects of MMA but he tends to slow down as the fight progresses. Historically he has looked great in rounds 1 and 2, but he tends to slow down and coast in the 3rd round. This hasn’t cost him yet as he’s still undefeated at 14-0, but he will need to tighten up this weakness if he wants to continue climbing the UFC ranks.

Bojan Velickovic is a well-rounded fighter with good cardio, but he has several significant flaws in his fight IQ and overall skillset. The first of his weaknesses is his inability to put his stamp on rounds. This is just one of the reasons why he has lost a few close decisions in his career. Bojan is one of those guys that does everything reasonably well but he doesn’t go the extra mile and significantly edge his opponent in any area. He’ll always be competitive standing up, on the ground or in the clinch but he doesn’t do enough to break away from his opponent and win rounds beyond all reasonable doubt.

This is one of those fights where I’ve decided to bet on Darren Till by capping this fight based on a process of elimination…

It is extremely unlikely that Bojan Velickovic is going to be able to outstrike Darren Till and it’s even more unlikely that he is going to be able to take him down and control him on the ground. For these reasons, I don’t see Till losing this fight.

The most likely outcome of this matchup is Till winning. I believe he’ll do this by keeping the fight standing and winning the first two rounds by picking Bojan apart. He’ll then most likely use his toughness and durability to cruise in the 3rd round and ultimately win a decision. I feel confident enough in this prediction to bet on Till. I don’t see Bojan being able to do enough to win 2 out of the 3 rounds and he doesn’t have the ground game or KO power to finish Till inside the distance.

Velickovic doesn’t have a judge pleasing style of fighting, while Till is flashy and exciting. This fight will most likely be close, but when it’s all said and done, I expect Till to be the fighter who gets his hand raised.

Reasons for betting on Darren Till to beat Bojan Velickovic...

He has high level Muay Thai.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Bojan Velickovic is not a strong enough wrestler to take Darren Till down. Darren Till has excellent takedown defence. [/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Bojan Velickovic and Darren Till are both Southpaws. This will favour the more skilled and experienced striker in this matchup who is Darren Till.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Velickovic is very predictable. He winds up on his strikes and his takedown entries are telegraphed. Till does a great job of reading his opponent’s movement and making them pay for their sloppy technique with devastatingly accurate counters.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till has very good fight IQ. He always finishes rounds strong in order to put his stamp on rounds.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till is very strong from top position. He has nasty ground and pound and can land a significant amount of damage from the guard.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till is an efficient fighter. There is no wasted motion in his movement. He does a good job of conserving energy and pacing himself.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Bojan Velickovic is a solid fighter who has the skills to put himself into good positions but he fails on the execution. For example he’ll get into a good position to land a strike but he’ll often be reluctant to pull the trigger. This will cost him against an accurate counter striker like Darren Till.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till does an excellent job of reading his opponent’s movement and either circling away from danger or punishing them with nasty counters.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till does a good job of catching kicks and either turning them into takedowns or knockdowns with left hand counters. Velickovic throws a lot of lazy kicks that are easy to read. Till should be able to have some significant moments by making Velickovic look bad after putting him on the ground with this technique.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Bojan Velickovic has very poor takedown defence.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Darren Till is extremely tough. Alexander Volkov vs Stefan Struve Betting Tip and Prediction

I’ve been holding off on giving you this betting tip all week because the odds on Alexander Volkov have been gradually improving, but with just 4 hours to go before the fight starts I can’t wait any longer.

I believe that Alexander Volkov will win this fight by being a little tougher, a little faster and a little better at landing on the inside.

Struve is slow and rigid in his stance and he leaves his chin up high and exposed when exiting striking exchanges. Struve’s long frame means that he can get away with this weakness when he fights against shorter opponent’s because they have to cover much more distance in Boxing range before they can land. This is the first time in a long time that Struve will be facing an opponent who is just as long and rangey as he is. Volkov’s length means that he can land big on Struve in Boxing range and make Struve pay for his defensive weaknesses.

[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Volkov is a more active fighter. He lands more strikes per round than Struve.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Alexander Volkov has solid takedown defence and good scrambles.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Alexander Volkov has better striking defence than Struve. His head movement and footwork is much sharper.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Volkov is much more dangerous than Struve in Boxing range.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][ultimate_icon_list_item icon=”Defaults-check” icon_color=”#679f42″]Alexander Volkov is significantly faster than Stefan Struve.[/ultimate_icon_list_item][/ultimate_icon_list]
